A very nice and relaxing 2weeks with no problems with the house or Pam and Steve who owns the property. We were greeted on arrival and shown around being explained where everything was and how it worked. A locked gate which made us feel secure with 2young children playing. The House we stayed in was adjacent to the owners property with a spacious downstairs which had large kitchen with all amenities required, and 2 bedrooms upstairs which were enough for what we needed. Air con was downstairs but not upstairs which did make for a warm room and a little uncomfortable sleeping but 2fans were provided in each bedroom which certainly helped circulate the cool air. There was a terrace outside the property which we used everyday for sitting and relaxing or having dinner, this was covered which was a respite from the sun if having lunch outside. It also has chairs and sofas outside too for additional outdoor comfort. The pool was a good size for us to use and mess about in, the kids loved it, it is sloped with stairs to get in from the shallow end, and a pool alarm too if younger children are using it. Inflatables were provided by owners too. There is a covered gazebo at the top of the pool which was nice to keep personal items poolside but out of the sun and also to allow you to stay close by but out the sun if required. The pool was also cleaned daily.
We were given many tips and ideas of things to do locally and although it is inland and away from coast the location is good.

We have just spent an amazing 2 weeks at Fig tree cottage. The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed. Pam and Steve had even left breakfast supplies for us which was great after our late flight. The property is located in a quiet area. There are supermarkets nearby - approx a 10-15 minute drive - and the local town has an activity park with water activities etc but other than that you do need to drive. The property is in a good location to be able to access all the major sights of the Cote d’azur - we visited Monaco and Monte-Carlo, Saint Tropez, the Gorge du Verdon, Saint Maxine, Nice, the lac de-Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon, le lavandou and Port Grimaud amongst others. Do bear in mind that all of these take at least 45 minutes to get to by car and Monaco is just under 1.5 hrs by car. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed it. Pam and Steve were on hand to ask any advice if needed but were never intrusive. For anyone wanting to visit the South of France we would highly recommend it.

Pam and Steve were good hosts and were happy to help with local knowledge. The house was as described, clean and tidy as was the garden area. The pool was ready to use each day if needed. The area itself is in between the mountains to the north and the coastal resorts to the south. A car is necessary to get around and most places of significance are approx an hour away but it does give great flexibility to both areas. We enjoyed driving around the Verdon Gorge and the beautiful mountain villages, the coast was very busy but we did enjoy the sights and nightlife from St Tropez up to Frejus. The best supermarket is Hyper U, about 15 mins away. The house was easy to find with the instructions/google maps. We had a lovely holiday.
