The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, together with a comprehensive inventory of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

The entertainment is to be found in the local area and beaches.
The south-facing garden is laid to patio and (irrigated) lawn with attractive shrubs and hedging. It is very private and the patio can seat up to 8 people with ease, There is a barbecue and 2 sunloungers. The whole area is pretty well toddler-proof.
There are 2 dedicated parking slots.
There are a few steps down to the front door. Otherwise it is completely on one level.
The 2 storey accommodation block is attractive and well maintained.
We have spent all our summer holidays on the South of France for over 20 years and have used our property every year since we bought it in 2002 for family holidays. We have come to love the area and anticipate each holiday with excitement and eager anticipation.

The apartment is in an idyllic holiday location, only a short walk from a delightful secluded beach, with restaurant, bar and life-guard cover. Clos du Royal is situated half way between Cavalaire and Le Lavandou, just one mile from the pretty village of Le Rayol, with its supermarket, and other small shops, including a boulangerie and a boucherie. It can also boast one of the best restaurants in the area, the well-known Maurin des Maures. The location also offers easy access to the local towns of Le Lavandou, Cavlaire, Bormes les Mimosas, St. Raphael, Frèjus, St. Maxime and the famous St. Tropez.
The area is one of the most attractive in the South of France, offering a combination of stunning views, excellent markets, exclusive shopping, golf and other recreational facilities. The area abounds with excellent restaurants and bars. Casinos and other night life can be found in the local towns.

The “Anchre d’Or” beach restaurant is excellent and not expensive for lunch, but you have to book in the season. They also have private sun loungers and pedallos.
The Tropicana also does lunch and evening meals, and opens as a night club on Friday and Saturday evenings (in season).
There are masses of excellent restaurants; the following are particularly recommended:
L’Anchre d’Or on the beach by the apartment.
Le Maurin des Maures, Le Rayol.
Plage Les Canaris at St Claire Beach – only opens for lunch, but outstanding value.
Le Café de France on the main square at Grimaud offers good value in pleasant surroundings.
Le Fleur de Sel on the road behind le Café de France in Grimaud.
Le Vieux Gassin in Gassin” offers good value
Le Lavandou is an attractive port with bars and restaurants next to the harbour. Good shopping.
Cavalaire, bigger than le Lavandou, is slightly closer (about 6 miles). It has an attractive harbour area with lots of restaurants and bars. Also a good shopping area.
St Tropez is around 20km from the apartment. Bars and restaurants abound and there are always artists on the waterfront with good art and print shops in the streets behind the main road past the harbour. Some wonderful fashion shops.
Grimaud (as distinct from Port Grimaud) is a delightful medieval village about 5 miles from the sea, near St Tropez, with spectacular views from the ruined castle at the top of the hill.
Gassin and Le Ramatuelle are 2 attractive hilltop villages en-route to St Tropez. There are a range of good restaurants on the main square by the church in Gassin.
Bormes les Mimosas is a beautiful small town on the hill behind le Lavandou. There are fine views from the bars and restaurants at the top of the hill.
Le Rayol is the nearest small town. It has a range of small shops, including a small supermarket, boulangerie a boucherie and others.
