|Villa Vivace||Self Catering||Saturday||3||6||2||2 more bedrooms in extra appartment|
Villa Vivace can be rented with 3 or 5 bedrooms. The two extra bedrooms are situated in a separate apartment with two more bedrooms, small living and extra bathroom with shower, toilet and double washstand.
The villa has sea views and views on evergreen hills. The end of the street continues as a forest track, that can be the start of endless walks in nature, even in peak season.
The pool is maintained all year through and is heated from 17 degrees natural on. But we can heat it up at any time at any temperature, but against cost price of course.
Children are very welcome; we have lot's of toys for inside and outside. Ping-pong, mini-foot, trampoline etc.
A lovely spot to stay off-season as well: we know ourselves all the hiking-tracks either in the hills or at the coast-line. Paradise!!
Our kitchen is very well equipped and contains all the tools that you can wish. 4 coffee machines for example!
Recently we have bought also a gaz plancha for outside cooking.
Restaurants nearby (2 KM) open all year. Plenty of restaurants open all year in Le Lavandou and Cavalaire (10 KM).
Living and dining room in one. Also the tv/stereo can be found here.
Direct acces to both kitchen and outside terraces on both sea and pool side.
3 bedrooms in the villa; masterbedroom double bed kingsize, second room two single beds (90x200), childrens room one single bed (90x200) and semi highsleeper (90x200)
1 bathroom with shower, bath, double washstand and toilet. Seperate guest toilet.
Extra bathroom with shower, toilet and double washstand in the extra apartment.
Electric heating in all rooms. Also reversable airco/heating for the three bedrooms of the villa.
The villa has good internet acces. Also good satellite reception of e.g. free BBC, all free German, all Dutch (commercial as well).
Lot's of toys for children. Board games for families/adults on demand. Many, many books.
Outside playground for the children (swing, sandpit, trampoline, ping-pong, mini foot).
Natural environment, original trees/plants like corkoak trees, mimosas, agaves, arbousiers, palmtrees etc. Part of the garden is reserved for children, we call it the "adventure forest".
There is space to park 3 cars. The property is closed and has an remote controlled gate.
Our oldest guest (in 2017) was 97! An exception of course.....but the cars can be parked on both villa and extra apartment level. There are two steps from pool level to villa level. The villa itself is flat. Same for the extra appartment.
Not accessable for wheelchairs.
We ourselves(the two of us) live nextdoor on a lower level, without any views on your property/pool. We do have our own pool and terraces, that will not disturb you at all.
Dutch from origin. Living here with wife and two children since 2000. Letting our house for 15 years now. Not to escape from the Netherlands (we had a lovely house there) but just to change the routine of daily life. And ended up in....yes in paradise!
|Year property purchased||2000|
|Why this location?||The French themselves call this spot "the pearl of France"! You cannot compare this area with Fréjus, Cannes, Saint Tropez or so....as it is much....MUCH more quiet, unspoiled, yes, maybe a bit primitive still.....
If you just leave your car and walk out our street, that continues as a forest track, than you can have endless walks with stunning seaviews, for days if you want! You won't see anyone (well maybe one or two other soul-mates..) even in peak season. It's green, it's quiet, natural, primitive (in a positive way). Real paradise for hikers, also in automn, winter and spring. If you want to visit more busy places, no problem, Cavalaire and Le Lavandou are only 15 minutes away. Hyères and Saint Tropez, only 30 Minutes away. You can make boat trips to the islands from Le Lavandou, Cavalaire or La Londe. Gorge du Verdon or Calanques de Cassis, Le Corniche d'Or or Monaco are only about 2 hours away.
|Unique benefits of property||The heated pool (that is maintained all year through). The quetness and natural environment. The 4 sandy beaches within 5 minutes, paradise for snorkling, scubadiving, diving. Sailing school around the corner. Diving schools around the corner. Plenty of restaurants. But above all: nature and quietness!|
Domaine du Rayol: It's a beautifull botanic garden with two lovely buildings on it. It has lovely views on the meditarenean.
Bormes les Mimosas: typical Provençal village, only 15 minutes away.
Le Lavandou: nearest larger village with 5 big supermarkets, nice boulevard, harbour, nice and easy walk to the Bormes harbour. huge beach, plenty of bars and restaurants.
Hyères: small city, has everything (even airport) but also a cosy city-center (mediavial).
Ramatuelle and Gassin: on the peninsula of Saint Tropez, with beautiful views on the bay of Saint Tropez.
Saint Tropez: why mention Saint Tropez? Well, many people expect a city....but it is not! It's a small village with three "Gucci streets", that are overcrowded....but 200 meters further, towards the fortress, it's quiet again...restaurants with normal prices...nice views.
