Lovely Contemporary Apartment for 2 with Pool . This apartment is in a village setting.

Le Genévrier is a one-bedroomed, purposely designed for the discerning holiday maker.
Everything has been thought out to make your stay as hassle-free as possible.
You enter your holiday home through a covered terrace (two steps up) and French doors leading into a well-furnished living space. A comfortable sofa and chairs are provided, with good quality furniture and tasteful soft furnishings. Tv, dvd player and sound system are provided for you entertainment, along with a collection of books.
A dining table and chairs are provided for meals inside. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and comprehensive range of utensils and there a few store -cupboard ingredients to get you started. A simple shower room, with wc, also houses the washing machine, should you wish to keep on top of your laundry during your stay. An iron is also provided.
The bedroom is fresh and contemporary with a comfortable, large double bed. Beautiful soft furnishings and high quality bedlinen and towels are provided.
Swimming towels are also provided.
The covered terrace has outdoor furniture and there is a parasol for shade in you outdoor area

A gas barbecue is provided, with gas and utensils.

The apartment is to be found in lovely gardens with a wooded area, leading to the pool, which is surrounded by hibiscus and buddleia bushes, enticing surrounding butterflies.

There is a boulodrome in the garden, for fun, along with table tennis.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen forms part of an open-plan living space. It is fully equipped with a wide range of utensils. Crockery and glasses are provided in adequate numbers- so everything doesn't end up in the dishwasher. Unbreakable glasses for use around the pool are provided, should you wish to take a drink outside.
A Nespresso coffee machine is provided for you use. Other equipment includes, cooker, microwave oven, large fridge, dishwasher, kettle, chopping boards, range of knives, stick blender, to name a few.
A folding dining table and chairs are provided, with all necessary mats and cutlery.

Living rooms

The sitting area has comfortable seating with sofa and chairs. There is a coffee table and bookcase, lamps and dresser. Contemporary cushions and lined curtains complete the scene

Bedrooms

One bedroom with large double bed, bedside tables, lamps and storage unit, provides everything you require, along with high quality soft furnishings and linens. Linen is changed mid-stay for a two week stay.

Bathrooms

The shower room has a good shower in glass cubicle, pedestal sink and wc. A shelving unit provides storage. The washing machine is found in this room along with the iron and ironing board.
Occitane toiletries and tissues are provided

Heating

Heating! For most of the year we hope that this is not required. However, each room has an individual electric radiator, should you require it.

Entertainment

A tv and dvd player are provided along with contemporary sound system.
There is a satellite tv receiver.
Wi-fi is avalable free of charge.
There is a selection of paperbacks and boardgames.

Garden and outside

The grounds are completely enclosed and secure with an electric gate. You will be provided with a remote control along with your keys.
The establish gardens provide a colourful backdrop for outside relaxation.
There is a beautiful swimming pool and plenty of sunloungers for all to use. Parasols provide ample shade. Low tables and unbreakable glasses are provided. Swimming towels are included in the price. The swimming pool has an alarm that meets French requirements.

On the other side of the property there is a boulodrome- an ideal place to practise before venturing under the gaze of the professionals in town!

Having been involved in villa management on the coast for several years, we decided to move inland and enjoy the provencal life, our area has to offer. We live here permanently and have a wealth of information on the area- places to go and things to do.

Why this location? This property is in an area of spectacular scenery, with many things to do. Within walking distance to the village there is no need to take the car. Aups has all facilities- bars, restaurants, shops, banks, medical services and a great twice-weekly provencal market.
We are close to the Lac Sainte Croix, not only beautiful, but it has many water-based activities, with an unforgettable trip up the Verdon river and the base of the spectacular Gorges du Verdon. We are close to the lavender plateau, for those who come to see the spectacular fields of purple. We are surrounded by provencal perched villages, vines and olive groves. Aups is famed for its truffle market during the winter months and boasts several good restaurants The Verdon region is spectacular and no trip would be complete without a car ride around Europe's largest canyon. Aups , a lively market town provides the ideal base for a journey of discovery, for all the senses- true Provence.

The property has been carefully planned and the mature gardens have been planted so that all areas have privacy. The property is in the perfect location for exploration of the surrounding area.
