Here is what one of our visitors wrote about their stay:
We have thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Les Marronniers. The holiday home is comfortable with everything you need. The area is not new to us but the small white roads are providing a “roller coaster’ rides through the countryside. Everything is full of spring flowers, blossom but little sunshine has not dulled the beauty. The garden is just exceptional and full of a variety of birds. Had we known of this when our children were young they would have enjoyed the woods. The owners responded immediately to our questions about the property and were obviously intent on making our stay wonderful. Thank you”. C & D B Kent.
I will provide our visitors with a guide I wrote with them in mind. They all found it most useful to prepare their holiday and to make the most of it while staying at the cottage.
“A fantastic holiday to a very authentic part of France - just what we wanted! the cafes, boulangeries and patisseries not to mention the stunning landscape made our trip! It was great for us to have a chance to use and improve our (limited) French and sample the local culture. The gite was perfect, the children loved exploring the garden and the adults appreciated the wood burner with a safety glass at the end of a long day. We visited in chronological order Desvres market, Boulogne sur mer, Denlys parc (superb for 2 to 14 years and great value) Auberge du Bon Acceil (near Montreuil - simply amazing food and v reasonable) Azincourt (recommended) Montreuil-sur-mer (ideal for more active type with she walk around the ramparts or ten walls) Etaples (harrowing military cemetery > 10000 graves of soldiers kicked in WW! - Le Touquet - thank you so much” J & L &C & O P South Wales
Here is another of recommendations from our visitors:

Bite is very secluded with a huge garden, which has loads of wild life in it. You feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere when sitting in the garden. Has plenty to do in bite with games, jigsaws etc, the only down side was the flies I the house. Well worth a visit.
