The property is a typical Savoyard house on 3 levels with a small outdoor decked terrace area. The lower floor consists of a large lounge, utility room/walk in shower and a double bedroom. On the middle level is a large kitchen/dining room, and on the third floor there is a twin bedroom (with a view of the Chateau), a bathroom with bath and overhead shower, and a separate wc.
The house is equipped with a dvd player, free to air Sky channels, hi-fi system and some boardgames.
There is space to park outside the house on a communal car parking square. The location is very quiet and is a short walk to the village shops which include a well stocked supermarket, charcuterie, boulangerie, bank, tabac, pharmacy, hair salon, and also several restaurants and pizzerias.
Our house is suitable for families, small groups or individuals.

Great for lakeside and the tourist town of Annecy in summer.

Spend a day touring Annecy with its medieval streets and busting market.
Catch the local ferry from the port of Menthon and travel clockwise around the lake.
Cycle along the dedicated cycle path which circles Lake Annecy, or for more leisurely days, take your bike on the local ferry to the base of the lake at Doussard then cycle along the former railway line (now cycle track) back to Annecy.
Drive up to La Clusaz and enjoy extensive ski slopes for all grades. For the more adventurous, travel to the more family resort of Grand Bornand. Both resorts within 30 mins drive.
Alternatively drive further afield to Megeve (1 hour), Val D'Isere (2 hours), Meribel (1hr 15), or do them all in an adrenaline filled week!
Walk down to the picturesque port of Menthon. Sit in the beer garden of the Chalet du Port and admire the views along with local wines and speciality local food. Walk along the lakeside to the magnificent Palais du Menthon.
A suspended footpath over the lively river. Easy drive from Annecy. 2 hour walk.
