The apartment is situated on the first floor of a four storey building. Entry is gained by a code given to you before you arrive. The apartment faces south, with its own balcony, outdoor table and chairs, offering views of the mountains. It is located in the centre of the village, set back from the main road and is quiet. The kitchen has recently been renovated. A new floor was put in 2017 throughout the apartment. In the winter, it is possible to ski back to within 20 metres of the apartment whereas in the morning, it is just a short 300 metre walk to the main Jandri Express lift or 200 metres from the Belle Etoile chair lift.
The local supermarket is just 50 metres away as is the nearest restaurant and local pub. The nearest bakery is just 250 metres away and offers some of the best freshly baked baguettes each morning.
A ski locker is available, in the garage, to store your skis/snowboard/boots.
The kitchen consists of a full size oven, a microwave, hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer and kitchen sink. It is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils, pots and pans as well as the necessary plates, cafetiere, wine glasses and not forgetting the corkscrew.
The living room consists of a large cosy, comfortable sofa bed, coffee table and television with views overlooking the mountain. There are a number of books available and games will be added to.
The sofa bed in the lounge converts into a very comfortable double bed and comes with 2 double duvet that can be used as a summer duvet or winter duvet.
In the entrance, there is a bunk bed with 2 single beds with a door leading into the main living room that can be closed if required.
The bathroom consists of a standard sink, bath and shower. There is a separate toilet.
The building is centrally heating. The apartment also contains an additional radiator which can be manually adjusted should you require more warmth.
There is ample secure parking at the foot of the apartment. Once parked up, access within the resort is easily done on foot as all amenities are close by. You have the possibility to use the buses, which are free of charge with a stop just outside the parking area.
I purchase the apartment in 2010 after spending a week on holiday in the resort a couple years earlier and enjoying the atmosphere and what the area has to offer.

|Why this location?||Fantastic Skiing area in the winter and also in the summer as they open the glacier every morning. There are multiple activities available and many are free to do. There are gentle hikes as well as more strenuous ones of varying distances.
In addition the locals are particularly friendly, smiley and you feel that they are there to help you enjoy your stay.
They say that there are about 300 days of sunshine allowing you to soak up the sun and admire the stunning views on offer.
|Unique benefits of property||The property is centrally located yet set back from the main road in a quiet area. There is private secure parking but once there you are able to walk around the resort without really needing to use the car. All amenities are close by, from the supermarket to the restaurants and local bars yet you have views of the mountains whilst sitting on the south facing balcony.|
The resort is buzzing with numerous activities from mountain biking to rambling. For those that like to get up early, you are able to go skiing on the glacier from 7am until 1pm throughout July and August. From the top of the glacier you can see the Mont Blanc and the Mont Ventoux.
The list of activities are endless but include via ferrata, white water rafting, canyoning, paragliding, golf, tennis, swimming in a freshwater lake or in an open air pool, horse riding, rock wall climbing and many more.
Take a walk down to the picturesque village of Venosc and walk through the marrow cobbled streets where local artisans have their wares on display shops. From there, you are able to walk up the Muzelle and stay in a refuge on the edge of a lake, though this requires a 4 to 5 hr walk up the mountain but you will not be disappointed.
Enjoy the thrill of skiing/snowboarding where you reach up to an altitude of 3,600, from where, on top of the glacier, on a clear day, you have a 360 degree panorama and are able to see the Mont Blanc and the Mont Ventoux amongst the many mountain peaks in the Alps. From the foot of the glacier to the top you're able to be pulled along by the 'T' bars or use a nostalgic Parisian metro to take you under the glacier to the top in 4 to 5 minutes. When you know the resort, you're able to ski from an altitude of 3,600m all the way back to the resort at 1,650m without stopping or travel further down to 1,200m without having to stop.
A 6 day ski pass allows you free access to the swimming pool each day and use of the skating rink. You are also able to use the ski pass to spend a day in Alpe d'Huez and ski the longest piste in Europe at 16kms. You can ski in the resort of Serre Chevalier too.
There are numerous very good restaurants in the resort but please feel free to enquire for any specifics.
