Fabulous gite - La Louetiere ticked all the boxes. The interior was spacious, spotless, comfortably furnished and extremely well-equipped. We felt relaxed and at home from the minute we stepped through the door. The excellent welcome pack was very much appreciated.
For us, the situation of the gite was perfect: set in beautiful countryside, not too far from local amenities and the charming Loire villages and towns. It was the first time we had holidayed in this area and it didn’t disappoint.
Equally impressive was the garden where we spent most evenings. It was well equipped too with sun loungers, garden chairs and cushions enough for everyone. We have lovely memories of barbecuing, playing games, reading or just relaxing with a glass of wine watching the horses in the adjacent fields. The Jacuzzi was a special bonus enjoyed by the younger members of our family.
We can’t speak highly enough of Nadia as a host. She was friendly but discreet, very helpful when required and her work ethic was to be admired. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. As our daughter said, ‘She is a star’.
The gite was lovely, we received a warm welcome from Nadia the owner and was greeted with a very nice bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge.
The accomodation was very spacious and had everything we needed including a hot tub for the warm evenings.
Not too far from Angers, Ancenis for shopping etc, but remotely situated for peace, quiet and relaxation!
Plenty of Parks, Zoo's etc for the kids near by and a couple of very nice beaches was just over an hour away
A lovely holiday, deffinatley recommend a say even for a few days
Recently spent nearly two weeks in this beautiful Gite with family and three young grandsons. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Spent many hours in the extensive gardens and grounds under the shade of the trees. Very peaceful and a haven for wildlife. Boys loved the use of the hot tub. Great base for exploring the mighty Loire Valley. Would highly recommend.
We have visited numerous Gites in France, La Louetière is by far the loveliest, most comfortable Gite we've visited. The Gite is beautifully furnished, clean, with a very well stocked kitchen. I've never seen as many dishes, utensils, cutlery etc in a holiday home, and as for the towel cupboard, Wow! Full of quality, fluffy towels. With a washing machine, and dish washer, La Louetière surely was a home from home. Nadia, the owner clearly cares about her guests and went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. She made herself available whenever needed. With a hot tub in the huge garden, comfortable garden furniture, and horses around the borders of the garden, we felt truly spoiled and relaxed. I actually want to keep this Gite our secret, but that would be selfish. Go and try it for yourself! Enjoy!!
