This is a beautiful old property, but as it does not have lift we are sorry but we consider it is unsuitable for guests who can not manage stairs comfortably.
Children are welcome. However, parents are asked to make their own judgement of the suitability of the property prior to booking taking into account the ages and abilities if their children and being aware of the need to supervise their children, because of the following property features:
-Open water features and river in the grounds.
-Large, opening windows with fragile antique glass.
-Stone staircase and floors.
We live on site in our (separate) private basement apartment, with a big soft black labrador we adopted when he failed to make the grade as a guide dog (too timid, and not terribly sensible!). We are on hand to welcome you, show you around the chateau, and give assistance if /as you require it. We do not intrude on your group, but we will willingly offer suggestions for things to see & do to suit your group's tastes. We can help with arrangements if you would like us to. Just ask!
