Year property purchased 2005
Why this location? The Loire Valley is one of the most popular and historic regions of France. It is easily accessible by car, train, or plane and, being a UNESCO area of outstanding beauty, it boasts some of the most glorious chateaux, gardens, and vineyards.
The climate in the Loire Valley brings sunshine and some rain which makes the region so lush. In the summer months temperatures can rise to mid-30-degrees with spring being mild and the winter months often bringing snow. With two wood-burning stoves (as well as central heating) Chantepierre is as welcoming in the winter as it is in the peak summer months.
Unique benefits of property Chantepierre translates as 'Singing Stones'. It is a traditional French longere, meaning a long house. It has a wealth of charm and character while offering incredibly spacious and extremely well furnished accommodation.
Set within 1 acre of private, enclosed, garden with pool, Chantepierre is a real haven and has lovely views across the open countryside beyond.
Equipped to a very high standard, Chantepierre offers superb accommodation for up to eight people. Due to its layout, it's ideal for large families, or two families wanting to holiday together. Because part of the property can be 'closed off', Chantepierre is equally as lovely for a couple or smaller groups and out of peak season we offer discounts for bookings of 2-4 people.
We provide bikes for guests use so that you can enjoy all that this lovely area has to offer.
Chantepierre is located in a tiny hamlet, with its nearest village being just 1km away which has a small shop and bar; so an easy stroll or cycle ride.
