About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Sarah Gabbar

Bob and I moved to France in 2006 with our two children, having holidayed here for many years. We love the life here and our village house provides us with both a business and a family home, and a fantastic way of life. Over the years we have met many delightful guests, many of whom have become regular visitors.

Why this location? We love the beautiful countryside on our doorstep with the elegant chateau town of Saumur only 25 minutes drive away. We are only 3 hours from the ferry port at Caen and are therefore in the ideal spot for guests to stay on their way further south, or to stop a little longer and explore the Loire Valley with all its vineyards, chateaux and restaurants. The area is great for walking, cycling and site seeing.
Unique benefits of property Our bed and breakfast offers you a private suite of rooms, including a dining room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and direct access to the garden. It is ideal for a couple or family group. We provide a copious breakfast complete with homemade jams and marmalades, and bread from the village bakery. We offer a four course evening meal on request, prepared by Bob who is a trained chef.
