Tina and I decided to make a new life in France and found Moulin de Rabion.<br/>The rest as they say is history.
|Year property purchased||2007|
|Why this location?||We fell in love with the area.|
|Unique benefits of property||We are within striking distance of most of the wonderful opportunities of the Loire valley.|
The Cadre Noir riding school, Le Mans race track, the Chateaux the list goes on.
We spent a lovely week at the Moulin de Rabion Gite. The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there including high quality bed linen, towels and bathrobes. A well fitted kitchen, comfy sofas and Sky TV. Oh and a magnificent en suite with copper bath and good shower room.
The private drive and outside area meant we weren't overlooked and could come and go as we pleased. Lots of grounds to explore including a working water wheel and millpond with coypu, herons and other wildlife to watch. Steve and Tina have donkeys, a goat, chickens, cats and a dog too. Friendly hosts, they were there if we needed them, but were happy to leave us to get on with our week - providing a welcome pack with milk, biscuits a bottle of fizz etc. An easy drive to the local village for a baker and a supermarket and not far to places like Langeais where there was a good market.
We had a relaxing stay - a bit of road noise, but as the property is set back from the road it wasn't too much of an issue. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Stayed in the gite for one week in February and it was a delight. The gite was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed making our stay very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well and we slept well. Perfect place for two. We found the gite well positioned for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again if we go back to this area. Tina and Steve were good hosts and happy to give recommendations of places to visit.
Thank you so much Caroline , to know you had a good time means a lot and makes the work we have put in to the Gite worthwhile
We hope to welcome you back one day!
