The owners private tree lined lake is well stocked with carp, tench and gudgeon, with picnic area and barbecue.

Parking outside front door
The gite has easy access and is all on one level
Villaines La Juhel 1.5km.
The Oasis approx 1km, excellent restaurant plus Pizza bar for takeaway meals.
The nearby town of Villaines has a Monday market, many shops, an open-air swimming pool, supermarkets, pavement cafes, etc.
What can I say. Perfect. Fishing is great, had a carp over 7lbs. Owners are fantastic, the eggs are great. Easy walk to the local amenities. Good restaurants all walking distance or short drive away. So quiet and tranquil, batteries fully recharged after being able to really get away from it all. Cannot wait to get back there. Thanks for a wonderful time Keith, Julie, and Rob
Property as described in a wonderfully quiet setting - for a holiday away from it all - but still close enough to walk into the local village for provisions and for a cool drink at the local Tabac.
The property had all we needed and was very clean, the hosts are excellent and could not have been more helpful - a welcome pack including bread, milk and homemade jam, plus eggs from their own chickens for our breakfast.
Plenty of fishing in the private lake, a really great holiday away from it all but within easy driving distance of some really lovely French towns.
Very peaceful, ( it lies at the end of a lane so no traffic).
The gite is an old barn conversion, nicely furnished with a decent sized living/dining room. Good kitchen and bathroom, and a comfy bed!
Well maintained property inside and outside.
The owners are very friendly, (as are the hens , cats and goose!).
We were kept well stocked with fresh eggs.
There's a small lake full of fish just through the trees at the rear of the property.Lots of carp upto 7.5lbs, biggest I saw were several in the 3 to 4lb range.
Lots of places to see and visit, we loved Ste. Suzanne, picturesque medieval village perched on a hill. Bagnole De L'Orne well worth a visit.
Perfect for a couple who want to 're-charge the batteries'
Julie,Keith and bob ,made us feel very welcome ,the gite was very clean and comfy ,the area is really nice ,lovely relaxing place to be
