|Why this location?||Easy reach from various channel ports and Renne airport.
Have always enjoyed this part of France and spent many family holidays in the region.
|Unique benefits of property||Peaceful, rural and relaxing but only a shortish walk to a town with everything you would need.
Ideal for fishing, bird watching or just soaking up the atmosphere
The historic and picturesque towns of Domfront, Mayenne, Fougere and Laval are all within 45 min drive. The pretty seaside resort of Carrolles is approx 55 miles away which is close to the busy resort of Jullouville.
Our second visit this year to this lovely holiday home. The setting is very tranquil in the middle of the countryside. The farmer's cows were in the field next door this time.
Once again, the house was clean and comfortable , with everything we needed for our stay. It's obvious how much the owners care for their holiday home, with many homely touches, eg books, games, soft furnishings, etc.
Outside there is plenty of space to roam or just sit quietly, relaxing in the garden or by the lake, watching the busy kingfishers.
An ideal holiday for those who like to be in rural France but with the convenience of a bustling town (Gorron) just a short distance away.
Very relaxing, clean, lovely place. Would definitely recommend
A lovely welcoming cottage which lived up to its description. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is rural but easily accessible and there are plenty of places to visit in the area. The weather was mostly good, so we spent a lot of time outside in the grounds and of course fishing in the lake. The owners were helpful in responding to queries and the guest information pack was useful, together with an excellent selection of tourist information leaflets to browse through.
The whole process of booking was very easy, Andrew (the owner) provided all the information that we needed. The gite is in a lovely setting and had everything we needed for our holiday. It was very peaceful and relaxing. I enjoyed sitting by the lake fishing and listening to the birds. We had a family of red squirrels visit the garden every morning.
