Beautiful rural retreat, set in open countryside with excellent views. Quiet and relaxing cottage which offers the chance to escape from everyday pressures.
Central heating for the winter months is available.
Cottage is set within 6 acres of pasture land, not overlooked, but private and peaceful.
Kitchen is fully equipped with a separate oven (electric) and hob (gas).
Ground floor living room is open plan and has sofa, chairs and dining table and chairs - there is a wood burning stove for the winter time. There are french doors which open onto a small patio area and the garden at the rear of the house. A second living area is on the Mezzanine floor, this has excellent views over open countryside, whilst there is no tv, there is a screen and dvd player (with a library of dvds).
Two double bedrooms, the first has a large double bed, the second has a double and a single bed.
Two bathrooms, the ground floor is a shower room and the upstairs bathroom has a bath.
Central heating available for the winter months.
Dvd player and Dvds available.
The house is surrounded by 6 acres of land but there is a dedicated grassed area at the rear of the house which has a patio area with garden furniture. There is a swing and a tyre hung from the old oak tree. There is a large pond next to the drive. Whilst there is no swimming pool on the site there are lots of options for swimming locally.
Private drive to house with ample parking.
Regrettably not suitable for wheelchairs.
Famous for it's 24 hour racing but the town is very interesting too. The cathedral has the most amazing windows and the old town behind the cathedral is famous for it's jazz connections.
