You really can’t miss this, it is absolutely stunning and for the more adventurous of you it is possible to take a microlite up and see it from the air. Alligator bay is also near and a great day out, fun to see at feeding time, you can even climb in with the giant tortoises.

Great French market here on a Wednesday morning.

If you want complete peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but close enough to re-connect for shopping etc. Mandy has an idyllic location for anyone wanting to escape the rat race and just chill and ensured we had all we needed without being intrusive. An added bonus was the superb carp lake. Will we return? Oh yes! This was our second visit and many more are anticipated.

Mandy the owner was friendly and helpful with regard the fishing on site. It was great that it was secure enough to leave the fishing tackle in situe for the week.
The gite was in a lovely, quiet location with lots of wild life to enjoy. The site contained animals such as pigs, goats and cats which all added to the character.
You can understand cobwebs in an old country building, bot other areas could have done with a bit more of a clean.
We would be happy to stay there again

Had a great time despite the weather. The fishing is top draw.

The stairs were a struggle for my Mum and Nan but anyone else would be fine. The cottage could do with some brighter light bulbs as both Mum and Nan are big readers and they found it hard to see.

The kitchen is well appointed and the dining area is comfortable. Upstairs the beds and duvets are very good.

The lounge area needs better seating, the sofa and chairs are past their best and there is a smell of damp / animalls.
