You can sip wine on the terrace and watch your children playing in the water as a way of relaxation or why not venture to one of the region's many chateaux and parks. Whatever your choice you will find yourself fully immersed in a pretty, friendly village and enjoy all La Grange can offer.
There is plenty of space for larger groups, our beautiful master bedroom with Jacuzzi in the en suite is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break. There are two distinct leisure areas - the fully enclosed lawn and patio which is ideal for sunny morning breakfasts and watching the children play then there is the pool area. The pool is accessible through a locked gate or through the patio door from the dining room, which is further protected by a childproof barrier. The pool is heated and available from May to October.

Puy Du Fou is one of the most famous theme parks in France chronicling the history of the country in the most entertaining and dramatic way possible.
Uncared for property.
After booking this property & having our holiday, sadly this property did not meet its expectations or its criteria. If just a few were remedied then I could excuse the rest but our major problem lied with the pool, which was not heated, even though the description states it is & there was no hot water in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom, where my family were sleeping!
The biggest drawback for us was the pool being unheated, for our entire stay, this remained at approx 12°c & far too cold for any adult let alone my toddler to enjoy. The pool heater was located on the first day and switched on, whilst power runs to the heater, the heater is unserviceable and never kicks in, regardless of the thermostat being turned up.
A pool light was hanging out of its fixture baring wires which were visible.
The pool can be cleaned with the robot but we had to clean the filters first.
The pool cover was broken & couldn’t be used as was the net making fishing things out taxing.
The plants surrounding the poolside were dead, there were only 2 pool loungers, one of which was broken. There were 3 sun umbrellas available all which were broken in some way, fortunately, though we managed to mismatch the bases & make them stand up using various implements.
Due to 1500 character limit - full review is posted on TripAdvisor.
Really lovely area but there is very little in the village itself. While we were there the fresh bread machine wasn't available as it was on Summer break and the small shop / ice cream stall by the camp site had unpredictable opening hours. The plus side of that is that the village is so quiet and peaceful and a short drive or cycle away there are 2 bigger towns.
The house is lovely! We had seven adults, a six year old and a one year old in our party and it was perfect for all of us. The pool especially was a big hit.
There are lots of additional things in the house, toys, games, cds, dvds. There was even a keyboard in the kids room which we quickly told our son that is was broken!!
Lots of other holiday makers (including ourselves) have left things like cleaning materials, dishwasher tablets, pasta, rice and cereal etc which is a bonus.
Overall we had a lovely time and we would definitely return.
The property is very spacious very comfortable and perfect for a nice relaxing family holiday.
The bedrooms are generally very spacious and there is plenty of room downstairs for relaxing.
Because there were 6 adults and 3 children in our group, it was a shame that there were only 2 sun loungers by the pool but other than that, and possibly a slight moan that the pool temperature was not as high as we had hoped, we would certainly recommend it for a family holiday.
There were lots of nice flat cycle tracks alongside the nearby river so we were grateful for the good quality cycles that were provided for our use by the owners.
