Moved to France in 2002 and after much searching for the right property finally found what we were looking for in La Coquais and in 2005 our Gite La Petite Coquais was opened for tranquil luxury stays in rural France. Sold our property and business in Nottingham in the UK in search of a more peaceful life which we now have in France.

An ideal place to get away from it all, yet still be close to all amenities. Good clean accommodation with everything provided. Friendly, helpful hosts but not intrusive. Fishing is very good. We would be happy to recommend this property to others and would be more than happy to stay there again.
Thanks Ann for the kind review we enjoyed having you all stay and glad you enjoyed our Gite and look forward to seeing you all again soon, glad they enjoyed the fishing with some nice carp caught and in great weather.
Phil and Jane
This is probably the cleanest, best equipped gite that we have ever stayed in during the last 10 years of our French visits.
The owners Philip and Jane could not have been more heplful, both during and prior to our visit.
Would thoroughly recommend this property to any person looking for inexpensive luxury.
Thanks Brian and Len for your kind review,we enjoyed having you both stay at La Petite Coquais and are glad you enjoyed the fishing and your stay with us and look forward to seeing you both again in the future.
Philip and Jane
Phil and Jane were excellent hosts always willing to help with local information and places to visit.
My wife and I stayed for one week in September.we found the gite is excellent and very clean and very well eqipped with all the equipment you could need.Although we came for the fishing did not manage the big one but still had an excellent time. The area is excellent for places to visit . Renaza is just a few minutes by car or ten minute walk with Supermarkets Bank and Bakery all you would need. I cant praise Phil and Jane enough they made our stay truly memorable. Thanks again will see you next year.
Fantastic cottage and facilities the Gite wants for nothing and is set in beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed our morning walks around the lakes and we spotted deer and wild boar in the grounds.Philip and Jane could not have been better hosts, living on site but yet discreet.Happy to help at anytime and gave great advice on where to go and what to see in the area ,even booking restaurants for our anniversary,so helpful, thank you to you both for a lovely stay and we will certainly be telling all our friends, cant wait to come back.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you and hopefully your friends next year.
