A rural retreat that's perfect for a couple, Anjou gite is great for grown-ups. A stone built detached cottage with it's own private garden, set amongst the poplar woodland with access to the shared pool.
The ground floor has a fitted kitchen area with rear access to a private dining area and a lounge space in front of the wood burning stove. The spacious shower room and wc is also on the ground floor. Upstairs the bedroom has a vaulted ceiling with open beams and a king size bed.
The private garden is fenced and walled and has a raised decking area with parasol, chairs and table. The cottage is set in a gravel courtyard opposite 2 other gites, privacy is maintained by planted shrubs which create a natural screen between the properties.
All bed linen and towels are included for the length of your stay.
Our rural location means that although we do not have access to high speed broadband, we can provide access to wi-fi in the courtyard but not inside the cottage.
We live on site with our two dogs and aim to be invisible unless you need us!

Great for couples.This property is not suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users as the bedroom is on the first floor which is accessed via a turning staircase.
There is a shared pool with timber decking and sunloungers and shared gardens and boules court.
The pool is 10m X 5m with roman steps at one end. It is open from May to the end of September and is heated. There are sunloungers on the fenced, decked area surrounding the pool.
We have a small range of mountain bikes available for guests to use should you wish to explore the local woodland paths or visit the local bar on two wheels!

Visit the most iconic, Chenonceau, or the tallest, Brissac. Villandry for the gardens, Amboise for royal history and Da Vinci or Chinon for a fortress and lunch.
One of the largest tank museums in the world with over 800 vehicles, combine a visit with lunch in Saumur and a stroll around the historic town and chateau.
Less than an hour away, pay a visit to the world famous circuit, drive around some of the track, wander round the museum or try driving a kart.
