Le Jarrier Gite is a 2 bedroom detached property with modern facilities and a private solar heated pool.
It was a stable, and has been brought up to date to provide private accommodation for holidaymakers looking to spend time relaxing and visiting in France. In a rural setting yet within a short drive of many and varied tourist attractions and activities.
The private large south facing garden (with above ground pool) is accessed via the conservatory. The pool has solar heating and is generally available for use from approx mid May to mid September but possibly longer depending on the weather.
The gite sleeps up to 4 people. The double bedroom with en suite and wc is on the first floor, and the second bedroom is on the ground floor and has sturdy wooden adult sized bunk beds. There is a well equipped kitchen containing dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee-machine. The conservatory has lounge and dining areas but there is also plenty of seating outside. The shower room with wc and basin is also on the ground floor.

There is a 32" LCD tv, with French and UK Freesat tv, a dvd player with many dvds to choose from and also a Playstation 2 with games.

The gite sleeps up to 4 people. The double bedroom with en suite wc is on the first floor, and the second bedroom is on the ground floor and has sturdy wooden adult sized bunk beds.
The shower room with walk in shower, wc and basin is on the ground floor.
There is also a second wc off the double first floor bedroom.
Heating is provided free of charge via wall mounted electric heaters. Guests can alter the setting for these as required.
Free wi-fi provided.
Two tvs (one in the lounge/conservatory and the other in the first floor bedroom).
UK and French tv, dvd player, many books and games - indoor and outdoor.
A good size (3.6 meter) above ground pool in the gites private garden for gite guests only. The pool benefits from solar heating and is usually available form Mid may to mid September and possibly more depending on the sunshine!
The pool is approx 3.6 metres, circular and above ground and if required, has removable ladders for the safety of children.
Private garden with plenty of outdoor seating, dining table with parasol and six chairs, loungers and relaxing seating with coffee-table.
Two main seating areas, 1 south facing to benefit from the sunshine and the other sheltered.
There is also lighting outdoors as well as power sockets.
Free parking allocated area next to the gite only for use by gite customers.
The covered barn area in the garden is also good for cycle storage.
There are facilities (a bedroom and shower room) on the ground floor but there are 3 steps from the kitchen into the conservatory which may not be ideal for people with mobility problems.
There is a child safety gate at the top of the stairs in the double bedroom on the first floor.
We provide free wi-fi.
Electricity is free as is bedding and towels.
There is a rotary clothes dryer in the garden and also an indoor drying rack.
Electric fans also provided.
We have converted the old stable building at Le Jarrier into a modern self catering gite which has been open for 10 years and has a high percentage of returning customers each year. We are open all year and have a 5 star rating on Trip Advisor with over 48 reviews.

|Why this location?||Quiet and beautiful setting yet within easy reach of a wide range of different attractions, daily local markets, the lakeside beach at Sille le Guillaume with watersports bars and cafes (10 mins drive), Le Mans and its world famous 24 hour race track and museum.
Very popular villages of beauty in the Alpes Mancelles such as St Leonard des Bois, St Cenerie le Gerei, the lovely village of Sainte Suzanne. Canoening, pedalos, Adventures in the Trees, pony riding and so much more.

Sandy beach, watersports, bars/cafes, tree climbing adventures, pony riding, mini train rides and boat tours around the lake (seasonal), crazy golf, canoeing, pedalos, walking, mountain bike tracks, electric bike hire, water boarding. If you are not sporty, sit back and enjoy the lake and views.
Le Mans is the home of the world famous 24 hour race track and car museum, just under an hours drive from Le Jarrier. A must for car and motor racing enthusiasts.
Sunday mornings Le Mans holds a large outdoor market including brocante/antiques. This is situated in front of the stunning Cathedral which has wonderful stained glass.
Then there is the fabulous old town with cobbled narrow streets and bars/cafes, not forgetting the modern shopping area as well.
Within a 15 minute drive are the very pretty and popular villages of The Alpes Mancelles. St Leonard des Bois has the river running around it with several bars, canoeing, Adventures in the Trees and much more. A few minutes further north is St Cenrie le Gerei with its beautiful old church on the hill just above the river. Popular with artists and walkers, this village is worth a visit.
Sainte Suzanne is also popular with the old castle and small cobbled streets.
Chateau Sassy and also Carrouges are both within an hours drive and popular with our guests. The fabulous chateaux of the Loire Valley and the Vineyards of the Loire are approx 1.5 - 2 hours drive south but well worth it.
Some Loire wines are Saumur, Jasniers, Vouvray, Sancerre, Chinon, Anjou to name a few.
