|Gite at Le Moulin de St Blaise||Self Catering||Saturday||2||4||1|
The gite forms part of the Mill buildings and was apparently the home of one of the brothers who once worked the mill. Renovated in 2008 it is situated at the opposite end of the mill buildings to the main Mill House, offering guests the peace and tranquility of a riverside location with views out over the fields. Private parking is available alongside the gite. The accommodation is on the ground floor.
The gite is comfortably furnished. Bedlinen, towels and tea towels are all provided. There is a private fenced terrace with seating and a bbq available for your use. Guests are welcome to use all the grounds (10 acres!).
The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, toaster, oven and hob, fridge-freezer and all utensils.
It is open plan with the dining area (seats 4) and the living room.
The living room is open plan with the kitchen and dining area and features a log effect burner in the fireplace, seating and tv and dvd. The stone floor and painted beams make this a charming characterful room.
There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin. Both are on the ground floor and have wardrobes and chests of drawers. All bedlinen is provided.
There is 1 shower room with overhead and hand held shower, wash handbasin and toilet. Towels are provided.
The gite is heated by electric heaters, with heated towel rails in the shower room and living room.
Tv with both UK and French channels, dvd player.
The gite has it's own private terrace with 2 sunloungers, table and chairs and a parasol. Guests are free to use the grounds - open fields and lawned areas.
There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the gite.
The gite accommodation is all on the ground floor, however accessed by a couple of steps up into it. It is suitable for most people, however, it is not wheelchair friendly. Children are welcome but due to the close proximity of the river they MUST be kept under surveillance at all times. Guests may bring their pets subject to prior approval by the owners and there could be a small fee.
British owners, Phil and Elaine Miles, purchased the mill in 2008 and have been welcoming guests since 2009. They are constantly working on improving the facilities, having added bathrooms to each of the bedrooms and fully renovated the gite. When not working on the house or in the garden, Phil is a keen fisherman and Elaine is kept busy making home-made jams, jellies and chutneys with the fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.

|Why this location?||We love the peace and tranquility of the area, deep in the French countryside but only 2 1/2 hours from the ferry ports and 40 mins from an airport. The bustling towns of both Le Mans and Tours are just over 35 minutes away.|
|Unique benefits of property||The property forms part of the Mill buildings with the relaxing sound of the river on the doorstep, grounds to wander in and yet just a 15 minute stroll to the local village with boulangerie, bar, restaurant and grocery store.|
Just 5kms away in the town of La Chartre sur le Loir is the Hotel de France - once the base of the Aston Martin racing team for the Le Mans 24 hrs. It has a lovely restaurant and the pavement terrace is a wonderful spot to sit with a glass of the local Jasnieres wine and watch the world go by.
