Another amazing stay. The house is clean and well maintained and Dawn and Graham are really friendly and helpful.
The property was as described on the website if not better - it was excellent. The property was very clean and very well maintained - we felt excited and at home the moment we were shown around by the owners. The house provided lots of space for our family of 8, and the group dining areas - in the kitchen, dining room or outside on a covered patio - was just perfect for our family and provided for some memorable evening meals together. The property was extremely well kitted out in all areas, i.e. bedding, towels, all kinds of garden furniture, BBQ, pool inflatables, board games, petanque boules (not to mention the fantastic boulodrome), every kitchen tool you are likely to need and the crème de la crème being the lovely swimming pool. The vey friendly owners/hosts live next door, although after being met on arrival and shown around the property, we never saw them again apart from when we sought their advice, upon when they were only too pleased to help. The local area is very rural with some small villages in the vicinity. There was a good choice of supermarkets and restaurants within a 15-20min drive. We had a great holiday.
Really fabulous sprawling French gite, set in lovely grounds. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly; and had thought of everything. The house was so clean, so well equipped (for fun, for entertaining, for cooking, for a lot of people) and an all round fantastic property. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. The area is beautiful with great walks and cycle routes.
There's a village (a half hour stroll) with a good shop, boulangerie and cafe/bar which was handy, although we spent most of the time at the house. There's a big supermarket about 10/15 mins drive for stocking up on great cheese and wine!
This is a wonderful place where the owners have included lots of extras to make your stay more comfortable. There is an amazing selection of books and the pool is fantastic.
