Stunning location, the accommodation exceeded our expectations.
My wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at La Brondelle. Chris made us very welcome and the the restoration of this historic building has been carried out with skill, great care and sympathy, and is a real credit to him. It is full of atmosphere and we really liked the subterranean bar and the innovative bar stools!
This was an ideal stopping point for our journey down from Brest to Duras in Aquitaine.
Brondelle was a true find for our family. We enjoyed so many days by the pool , which Chris keeps in great order, and playing in the large manicured gardens. We also barbequed every evening and miss both the weather and the relaxed atmosphere. Travel is short to the local supermarket where everything can be found. The location of Brondelle is also ideal for touring west and south with the beach , local vinyards and harbour citys within easy reach. Lots to do in the area and plenty brochures and advice provided, our thanks to Chris. Wine is cheap and Chris a great help in selecting a good bottle at a good price. Food about the same price as in Ireland only there are so many Boulangerie's to be found, with their fresh baguettes and other tempations, delicious.!
We can only recommend Brondelle and I should think we will be back!
