This is a large stone walled house located in a small hamlet with private secluded gardens and a heated swimming pool. It sleeps 6+ comfortably.
The house has a large master bedroom with a double bed and two further bedrooms, one containing a double bed and the other 2 singles. There is a large mezzanine with a sofa bed. Upstairs is a family bathroom with a bath, separate shower cubicle and another shower and toilet on the ground floor.
On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen diner with a wood burner and access to the garden. There is a comfortable laving room also with a wood burner and access to the garden and pool. The living room also has a tv providing freeview, an extensive and popular games cupboard, a dvd player and a stereo system. The house has wi-fi access in most areas.
Outside there is a large private garden and a heated pool 8m x 4m. Naturally there is outside furniture and barbecue.
Although in a quiet hamlet there are a number of towns within easy reach. La Calliere a small town is minutes drive away and has a Spa, bank and ATM, baker, butcher, pharmacy and restaurant. La Chataingeraie is less than 15 mutes away and has two large supermarkets and an number of other shops, cafes and holds a market. A little further way is Chantonnay which again has a large supermarket and a number of shops, cafes and restaurants.
There are beaches and theme parks around one hours drive away.
Kitchen diner with seating for 6. Kitchen has a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric overn with gas hob, coffee maker, breadmaker etc. The litvhen is well equipped with pans, dishes etc.
There is a seperate utility room containing a washing machine, dryer and another fridge freezer.
This room aslo has access to the garden and pool and has a woodburner.
The living room has 2 comfortable settees, a tv with freeview, dvd, stereo and a large games cupboard. There is access to the garden and pool and the room has a woodburner.
There is a large master bedroom with a double bed and settee. Two further bedroom contain another double bed and twin single beds.
The is a family batchroom upstairs with a bath, shower cubicle, toilet, wah basin and heated towel rail.
Down stairs is a small shower room containing a wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
There are electric heaters in the rooms and 2 woodburners in the lounge and ktchen.
Television with access to freeview, dvd, stereo and a comprehensive and popular games cupboard.
Outside there s a large patio area with garden furniture and a barbeque.
The swimming pool is heated and is 8m x 4m in size.
There is a large private gardem area.
There is a seperate gravel area outside the house for parking.
Wi-fi is available throughout most of the house.
Retired and live in the cottage next door to the gite for six months of the year.

The Vendée is justifiably proud of its beaches. Most have achieved the blue flag for cleanliness and are typically gently sloping with fine golden sand. They attract visitors to holiday on their shores from all around the world and have done so for more than a century. There is nothing like blue sea, golden sand and glorious sunshine to conjure up a picture of the ideal holiday and the Vendée has an abundance of all of them. There are many beach activites sailing, surfing and nature trails.

This is a historic theme park with many activities and spectacular events that suits adults and children. It is recommended you visit their web site to see the full range of events.
The South Vendee offers beaches, picturesque farmland and the forest of Mervent. The region has hundreds of kilometres of well sign posted paths for horse-riding, walking or cycling. The rivers and lakes offer fishing. Many restaurants offer local wine and traditional Vendeen cuisine. Some Summer markets display local produce and crafts for sale. If you enjoy shopping then a visit to Nantes or La Rochelle will be a pleasure. A little closer to home is La Roche-Sur -Yon which boasts an indoor shopping mall and a huge Carrefour supermarket. There are many places to visit for a day out, These include Puy de Fou and Futuroscope which are two excellent unique theme parks. Also, Mervent forest, Mervent Zoo, Ile de Re, La Rochelle aquarium, children’s adventure parks. The coast has many towns and villages worth a visit, such as Les Sables - D'Olonne and the islands of Nourmoutier and Il de Re. Inland you can visit Cognac and the Loire Valley. There are many local restaurants in the area and details are available at the house.
