This is a spacious, airy, modernised open plan gite for 2 people located close to the swimming pool complex .
It features exposed French oak beams, modern fixtures and fittings, tv and dvd player and a separate, modernised bathroom with toilet, handbasin and shower.
The integral, open plan kitchen and dining area features a hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and a full range of equipment. It is set up to make it easy to eat either indoors or outside on the terrace.
Part of the same open plan space, the living space is simple and features dining table and chairs.
The gite is set up to cater either for couples or people travelling together and has the option of either a double or two single beds with bedside cabinets and lamps.
There is open place clothes storage and hanger space.
The modernised bathroom has a toilet, hand-basin and shower. Hot water is supplied by solar powered and electric boilers and is, thus, plentiful at all times.
The area is fantastic for things to to. In addition to the blue flag beach which is ideal for swimming, surfing and kite-surfing, there is an excellent golf course, Port Bourgenay, the Seven Ocean Aquarium, a racecourse, and the chateaux at Talmont St Hilaire.
Just down the road is Les Sables d'Olonne and Puy de Fou is just an hour away.
The gite is within an 8 acre complex which includes a 'park' area, other more rural spaces and two small 'lacs' one of which is stocked with fish.
The gite and associated pool, park and recreational areas are all traffic free but there is ample secure, onsite guest parking.
This gite and Le Village du Bois per se is suitable for combinations of families and for people of all ages.
A range of bikes of different styles and sizes is kept for free guest use.
A stock of films and books is also available for guest use.
John Eady, the owner, combines family and business interests in Manchester with running his gite complex.

|Why this location?||This is a superb part of France; great weather, beautiful countryside, beaches and towns and loads of things to do. It is also great for cyclists, golfers, walkers and watersports enthusiasts.|
|Unique benefits of property||Le Village du Bois, which opened for the first time in 2016, is just four hours from the main channel ports of Caen, Roscoff and St Malo, it is just a lovely location. It is rural and tranquil while just five minutes from beaches, towns, restaurants, supermarkets/shops and a range of visitor attractions.|
Excellent on and off road cycling on le Vélodyssée and a range of inland and coastal cycle routes.
There is a superb choice of restaurants of all types within close proximity. Seafood is a speciality and much of what is on offer is caught locally.
Le Village du Bois is ideally situated for golf breaks with Port Bourgenay on the doorstep and five courses located within a one hour drive. The quality and variety is excellent while the approach taken at the various courses is, within reason, pretty relaxed in respect of clothing and footwear. All venues hire clubs and buggies and it is also possible to combine your golf with some very good food.
Plage du Veillon, just 5 minutes away, which has in-season lifeguarding, is excellent for surfing, kitesurfing and body-boarding
