Internet access is available in the house.
Set in the Vendée countryside and within an easy drive of amenities and many tourist attractions, this holiday home is an ideal base for family holidays.
La Maison du Soleil is open all year and is an ideal base for visiting the Puy du Fou Theme Park.
La Maison du Soleil has a fully equipped kitchen with dining table for 4 guests, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
The comfortable living room has patio doors that lead out to the shared patio and bbq area. Inside the living room is a tv, dvd player, UK & French satellite channels and a wood burning stove for the winter months.
Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with two single beds.
A cot and high chair are available for younger children.
The shower and wc are located in the hallway behind the living room.
The house has a wood burner for the cooler winter months and all rooms have central heating with radiators.
There is a heating charge of €40 per week from October until the end of March to cover wood and radiators.
Inside there is a selection of books, board games and dvds.
Outside there is a courtyard garden with a dining table and chairs, plus a barbecue. This leads out to the larger garden (5000m²+) where you will find the heated pool and sun loungers.
There is also a small orchard where you can pick fruit in season.
The pool is open from May to the end of September each year, and is shared, along with the gardens with our other holiday home - Les Ammonites.
There is off-road parking for 2 cars.
The house is suitable for families and has a cot, high chair and stair gate, plus plastic cutlery and crockery for younger children.
This house is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchairs as both bedrooms are on the first floor.
The pool, courtyard and main gardens are shared with one other holiday home - Les Ammonites.
The property owners live on-site so are around to offer advice on where to visit.
Dogs are accepted from October until Mid-May each year.
This house can be rented with Les Ammonites for larger parties and can then accommodate up to 10 guests.
The owners of La Maison du Soleil Holiday Home are Paul & Isabelle and the rentals are managed by Annette Khan. They have spent the last few years renovating the holiday homes and are now close to finishing their own barn conversion next door as well. Isabelle is French and Paul is from the UK and both have lots of family living nearby. Paul enjoys flying kites and often demonstrates them to guests during their stay. Isabelle speaks French and is on hand to help with the language when needed.

|Why this location?||The country life appealed to both Paul and Isabelle and once they found their 'dream property' they set about renovating the old farm buildings and converting them into comfortable living accommodation for holiday makers and themselves. They love the peace and tranquility of the location, yet they are only a 10 minute drive to a bustling town and also have good motorway connections.|
