The main attraction of the La Tranche area is the natural beauty of the coastline - with miles of sandy beaches, pine forests for picnics and lots of rock pools and sand dunes to explore.
Some of the beaches are great for surfing and body boarding - Les Conches and La Terrière must be visited; La Veillon Plage is great for lagoon fishing and sand castles and Jard and St Vincent have limestone pavements stretching out into the sea - so are great for rock pooling at low tide.
The main stretches of beach at La Tranche sur Mer and La Faute sur Mer are just fantastic for relaxing, sunbathing or watching the sun go down.
