We are a Dutch family that moved to this beautiful spot in 2004. We started a small business which includes camping with 6 pitches, a chalet on the camping area and 3 independent holiday lets. We cater for "Adults Only".

We are located next to the largest lake in the Vendée and we have an amazing view from our property. We are situated on a cul de sac, not visible from the road so it is quiet and our chickens and cats can roam around freely.

We find that we live in Paradise in the Vendée
|Year property purchased||2004|
|Why this location?||The view is amazing, it is quiet and feels really remote. But, the advantage is that we have everything close by, so our location offers the best of everything.|
|Unique benefits of property||The view, the quiet, our roaming chickens, the feeling of safety, did we mention the view? And still all amenities are close by, shops, banks, vets, doctors, hospitals etc.
We also offer a heated pool to our guests.
And since we are an adult only accommodation/camping, it is never crowded.
We have many folders with maps of walks in the area and a bit further away. These maps can be borrowed.
We have many folders with cycling routes, these can be borrowed by our guests.
We also offer the possibility to rent bikes from a small English company with the unique service of having them delivered and collected from your accommodation.
If you like beautiful beaches, you will find many of them here. The closest beach is around 30 kms from us.
The Vendée has islands: Noirmoutier and Yeu. At a similar distance from us you can visit 2 islands in the Charente Maritime: Ile de Ré and Ile d'Aix.
Every island is different and has a lot to offer.
We are located in a small but good wine area, the Fiefs Vendéen. We have info on wine routes and walks that are being organised through the vineyards. Sometimes, our daughter who works at the Office de Tourisme, will come along on these guided walks and she can translate into English (and other languages).
A well known and renowned theme park, only an hour away from us.
For some culture we always advise our guests to visit Nantes, La Rochelle or Angers. La Rochelle is well known but most of our guests prefer the quieter places such as Nantes and Angers.
