Set on the edge of a village with a local bar and restaurant and only 15 minutes from the Vendee beaches and seaside resorts of La Tranche sur Mer, L’Aiguillon and La Faute sur Mer. Sailing, boarding and surfing are a few of the many local activities and the beautiful beaches range from gently sloping to competative surfing and wind sailing.

The Cathedral town of Luçon is only a 10 minute drive and has a great central square with cafés, bars and restaurants as well as an abundance of individual shops. The is a twice weekly food market and an absolute must is a visit to it's walled gardens. The Cathedral itself is magnificent looked over by the statue of the infamous Cardinal Richeleau. Aspects of the 3 Musketeers were based here this area being the last stronghold of the Royalists.
