  • Holiday tax : 0.80 Euros / per week / per adults.

    Prices include normal electricity expenses, water, towels, house linen and bed linen.

    Prices exclude additional consumption of electricity for heating and wood for fireplace.
    The rental price excludes end of stay cleaning. End of stay cleaning is the responsibility of the departing client(s). A supplement of Euros 60 may be paid to provide this service.

About this property

A Gite With Character And Charm In The South Vendee. This cottage/gite is in a village setting.

Located between the Marais Poitevin known as the Green Venice and the forest, not too far from La Rochelle, our gite is very comfortable for 4 people is located in the peaceful setting of a small south Vendée Hamlet.

The cottage, awarded 3 epis and 3 stars for comfort and charm, is situated in the quiet village of St Michel le Cloucq, 5 kms from Fontenay le Comte, 50 kms from La Rochelle and the beaches of the Atlantic. The ideal base for exploring and enjoying the Vendee Region.

Kitchen and dining

A separate kitchen/dining room: fully fitted kitchen with all modern facilities, well equipped with crockery, cutlery and plenty of utensils, kettle, dishwasher, ceramic hobs, microwaves oven, full oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine.

Living rooms

A large living room with a fireplace, satellite television and dvd , hi-fi and telephone.

Bedrooms

There are 2 bedrooms and one mezzanine room.

One bedroom is on the ground floor with a large double bed (160cm), tv, dvd player and an en suite with shower, sink and wc.

The other bedroom is upstairs with a double bed (140cm).

The mezzanine is also upstairs, enclosed on three sides, and has two 3/4 beds (120cm) - an ideal room for children.

We provided bedding and we make the beds fresh for when you arrive.

Bathrooms

There is 1 bathroom with bath and sink.

There is also a separate wc and an en suite shower room in the downstairs bedroom with shower, sink and wc.

Bath towels, hand towels, flannels and bath mats are provided. The bathrooms are fitted electric heated towel rails.

To enhance comfort for a restful and enjoyable stay, there are a 500 square meters private garden, a stone patio with garden furniture, a large outdoor roofed dining area with rustic furniture and a purpose built chimney-barbecue.
