Maison Mandara is a converted barn with beautiful oak beams throughout.
The ground floor provides spacious open plan accommodation incorporating the kitchen, dining and living areas.
The rear door door leads directly onto the sunny patio garden and pool.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and cooker.
There is a long dining table for up to ten people.
The open plan living room has plenty of comfortable seating, with satellite tv, a selection of family boardgames, books and DVD's.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, double wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Bedroom 2 has small twin beds and a chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3 has a king size bed, a triple wardrobe and bedside tables.
Bedroom 4 is a large family room with a super king size bed, bunk beds, a triple wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets.
Upstairs there is a family bathroom with a bath, an over bath shower, washbasin and wc.
On the ground floor there is a shower room with a walk-in shower, washbasin and wc.
The heating is by electric radiators.

My wife pauline and I have been visiting the Vendee for the past couple of years and loved it so much that we decided to stay and buy a house with a Gîte. <br/>Taking over this already existing business is a new adventure for us. We are very excited and looking forward to welcoming our guests.

|Why this location?||The Vendée enjoys a sunshine comparable to the departments of the southern Mediterranean according to the figures of Météo France. With beautiful rolling countryside, historic villages and fabulous beaches it is an area of france not to be missed.
Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Saint Pierre du Chemin, we are just a five minute walk to the centre. The village has a Bolongerie, a Pharmacie, a bar, Tabac and restaurant. The larger town of La Chataignerie with supermarkets and shops is a 15 minute drive away.
Maison Mandara is located right beside the Hyère Valley Plein d’eau. This is a natural recreation centre of about 9.8 acres, created in 2008. It is criss-crossed with paths and has a small lake of 6,000 m2. There is a ‘Green theatre’, picnic tables and a toilet block.
|Unique benefits of property||The south facing patio area is real sun trap with a barbeque and plenty of room for tables and chairs for relaxing and eating outside. The Gîte has a private pool with sunbeds. The indoor games room has a pool table and darts board. There is Satellite tv in the living room and free wi-fi throughout the property.

Towels and linen provided is provided. Guests are requested to provide their own pool towels.
A 20 minute drive from St Pierre du Chemin will take you to the medieval, listed village of Vouvant, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France. Only 25 minutes away in Bazoges en Pareds is the Ancient Keep and medieval garden.
A drive of about 35 minutes will take you to the amazing Puy du Fou, a theme-based leisure park offering a multitude of shows for the whole family and its nocturnal shows are breathtaking. Elected several times "Best World Park" and "Best World Premiere" for the show "The Last Panache", the park won in 2017 a Travel Gold ™ "Best Park 2017".
Visit La Roche-sur-yon a Roche-sur-Yon and see Les Animaux de la Place where mechanicla animals are installed in ornamental pools waiting to be brought to life with you at the controls.
The Vendée offers an extensive network of bike trails. The routes take you into the calm and beauty of a hilly rural region with unspoilt nature and villages full of history.
You can hire a boat and enjoy the beautiful Marais Poitevin, a protected area covering a hundred thousand hectares of wetlands or water meadows. The Marais Poitevin has both types of environment, with lush green pastureland and lower-lying wetlands criss-crossed by shady canals. Centred on the medieval town of Fontenay-le-Comte.
