Passionate about living in France, I took a degree in French and passed at the age of 52. Love the peaceful life in the countryside but have made friends in the village. Love the local market on a Saturday morning and others within a short distance during the week. Bought my first house in Normandy in 1989. 14 years later moved to near Perpignan and have been at this house for nearly 2 years.

We stayed at Les Tournesols in August 2018. We were a large party of 4 adults and 7 children aged from 10 to 2. The property was breath taking, from the sheer size, architecture, facilities, pool, outdoor kitchen etc... Everything about the property was stunning.
Rose was a fantastic host, and thought of everything, she even bought us a welcome hamper and all the children a welcome gift which was a wonderful touch.
The house was big enough for us all to have our own space, and be all together when we wanted to be for meal times, and games.
The pool was excellent, and with young children the fencing round the pool was a great security feature. There was ample seating round the pool, and the kids had a great time playing in there.
Location wise the house is set in rural France, you really are in the middle of no where which is exactly what we wanted, but had a local supermarket and bakery 5 mins away by car.
All in all we had a wonderful time and will certainly consider returning in the future,
