Both bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with plenty of storage and ample bedding and towels provided.

Garden and outside

A pretty roof terrace on the second floor, with seating and outside table.

Visitor suitability

The property is on three floors, and access to the roof terrace is via a steep staircase, so guests with mobility issues may find it a challenge. Please ask for more details and to discuss your particular needs.

About the Owner/Advertiser, Mrs Emma Cushway

We've lived in Brittany, France, since 2010 and discovered the beautiful spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre while on a family holiday. We loved it so much we decided to buy a little house there! There's seven of us, and the town offers something for everyone. Cycling, walking, skiing, thermal spas and a great town centre location. We hope you love it as much as we do! Ian, Emma & family.<br/>

Year property purchased 2014
Why this location? The town itself offers something for everyone, restaurants, shops & town centre amenities, as well as a great spa within walking distance. The town centre location means children can wander off to the market on their own, or visit the local parks. As a family we also love going to the nearby towns of Tarbes, where there's lots of big shops, and the pretty Argeles Gazost with its spectacular views and open air swimming pool. The surrounding area has some of the best mountain walks and cycling routes imaginable. Within half an hour you can be at the famous ski resorts of La Mongie and Le Grand Tourmalet. We really believe it is in a perfect location!
Unique benefits of property The easy accessibility to the town centre and other activities mean a holiday here is so easy, either as a family or for couples. The house itself is very well equipped and benefits from a pretty terrace overlooking the town for outside dining - unusual in a property in the town centre. As a family, we have tried to think of every possible requirement you will need to make your holiday as easy and enjoyable as possible. Please ask if there is anything you need not mentioned.

The Owner Recommends

Bagneres-de-Bigorre Market

Every Saturday in centre of Bagneres de Bigorre is a local market which runs all through the town with local produce, especially mountain goat cheeses and honey and organic / non gluten / vegetarian products, plus many stalls and a whole section of foods to sample and buy (crepes, tapas, Chinese, Indian) It's impossible not to be seduced by the fresh and locally produced produce - and it is literally on your doorstep!

La Fontaine restaurant

A traditional restaurant serving French food, but also excellent burgers and pizzas. Very family orientated with friendly and accommodating staff. Outside seating for warmer nights and a good selection on the menu. We have never been disappointed!
