We visited during very early season and it was very cold outside. Constance and Kevin were fantastic hosts making sure we were warm enough indoors by supplying extra heaters.
The gite was very clean and comfortable and had a typical rural French country feel with beautiful exposed local rose granite walls, chestnut (?) floors and oak carpentry.
We have visited this part of France many times before and intend to return to this gite again and sample the delights of the swimming pool and the western Lot.
Thank you Constance and Kevin.
Dear Simon and Susan, How kind of you to write a review about our cottage. It was such a pleasure to have you for a very short time as our neighbours. Pity that the weather did not help and we hope that your second week was much fun in some sunshine. I forgot to take a picture of you for our visitors book. We must do this next time you pass. We hope to see you to share a glas of wine with us. Thank you again, you are wonderful people !
We had a lovely stay in this charming gite owned by a delightful couple who were on hand but never obtrusive. The gite had everything one needs and was well maintained. Situated in St Projet it is ideally placed to explore both the Lot and Dordogne valleys with all their attractions
Dear I and P Thank you so much to take time and trouble to submit your review. You were such easy and appreciative guests - it was a pleasure to have your company. You will come and see us when you are in the area - won't you ! Go well and thank you so much for choosing Les Rossignols. K and C
We enjoyed a fabulous two weeks at Les Rossignols. There were three of us, parents and one of our grown up children, but the gite can accommodate one or two more.
The gite is situated in a large property full of fruit trees with access to a pool of which we had exclusive use. Our hosts, who live on site, were both very welcoming and discrete.
The property is well equipped and has wifi. While the village itself has no shops there is a supermarket, baker and bars a short distance away in Le Vigan.
Our stay was notable for the peace and quiet. We took bikes and enjoyed several rides around the neighbouring lanes. Some of the hills are steep but short and there is plenty of variety.
We definitely aim to go back.
Dear M., V., and D.
Thank you for writing your review. We are so pleased that your holiday was a relaxing and successful one. We loved your company, you were super guests and hope that when you in the area you will stop by for a glass and a bite.
Stay happy. Kevin, Constance and Mojo
We really enjoyed our one-week stay at this gite - it's very charming and Kevin & Constance were perfect hosts. The garden setting and pool are lovely. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers are good with lots of hot water, the TV has all the channels, there are books and games galore for those rainier days when you can't explore outside. It's very quiet and relaxing.
The surrounding area is very charming and nearby Gourdon (8 kms) has lots of shops and a Saturday market. We would love to return one day to this fantastic gite!
Dear Jen and Simon, thank you so much for writing your great review. You were lovely guests and we were pleased to read that your week was relaxing and you enjoyed yourself.
Jen, as a not-to-keen-on-cats person you were so good with Mojo and he wonders where you both have gone. Present guests have 3 dogs, so he keeps well clear of the gite.
Whenever you in the area you must come and see us. Share your adventures and some wine and cheese. Go well and all the best. Kevin, Constance and Mojo.
