Dear Chris, today I just had a look at my reviews, read yours and wonder if I ever thanked you for your kind words about our property. If not, please accept my apologies. I do not always know how this works. We very much enjoyed your company and hope that you come and see us and share a glass of wine with us. With love, Kevin and Constance.
We received a warm welcome from Constance and Kevin when we arrived. The gite was easy to find, thanks to Constance's instructions, and we immediately started to relax in the beautiful setting of Les Rossignols. Perfect to unwind and enjoy listening to the birds, but equally an ideal base to explore the many beautiful villages and prehistoric caves in the area.
We enjoyed visiting Rocamadour, La Roque Gajeac, Sarlat, Domme and particularly the village of St Cirq Lapopie and the beautiful cave paintings at Pech Merle.
The gite was exactly as we had seen it online, and there was everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
Kevin and Constance were the perfect hosts, friendly and welcoming and on hand if we needed anything.
We had a wonderful stay at Les Rossignols, and would certainly recommend it.
Dear Valerie, I just read my reviews and wonder if I ever thanked you for yours. If not, I am very sorry. We enjoyed your company - you were wonderful guests and please come and share a glass of wine with us when you in the area. With lots of love, Kevin and Constance.
Dear two, what a wonderful review. Thank you so much for that. It was good to read that you enjoyed your stay in the cottage and we were so happy to have your company. You were wonderful and easy guests. Come again, even if it is to share a glass of wine and share a baquette. Take care and au revoir !!!
We enjoyed our first visit to the Lot and it was lovely to come back to the welcoming gite and pool after a day exploring and walking
Dear two, thank you so very much for your wonderful comments. It was such a pleasure to have your company and we hope to see you again in not too distance a future. With love from Kevin and Constance.
We visited during very early season and it was very cold outside. Constance and Kevin were fantastic hosts making sure we were warm enough indoors by supplying extra heaters.
The gite was very clean and comfortable and had a typical rural French country feel with beautiful exposed local rose granite walls, chestnut (?) floors and oak carpentry.
We have visited this part of France many times before and intend to return to this gite again and sample the delights of the swimming pool and the western Lot.
Thank you Constance and Kevin.
Dear Simon and Susan, How kind of you to write a review about our cottage. It was such a pleasure to have you for a very short time as our neighbours. Pity that the weather did not help and we hope that your second week was much fun in some sunshine. I forgot to take a picture of you for our visitors book. We must do this next time you pass. We hope to see you to share a glas of wine with us. Thank you again, you are wonderful people !
