This is a beautiful region with plenty of things to see and do when you want to go out and about. The Midi Pyrenees is as well known for its beautiful scenery and cultural events as it is for its good food and wine. There are some lovely places to visit on day excursions and you could take a picnic to enjoy on the banks of the river Lot or one of the other scenic or dramatic locations, like Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie or Belaye.

If you are feeling energetic, there are tennis courts, canoeing, horse riding and golf nearby; or perhaps you prefer the more leisurely pursuits of fishing or birdwatching, or reading a good book. Whatever your age or level of fitness, there is bound to be something that suits.
