About this property

Private Woodland Retreat, All Comfort, Large Pool . This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

Here is a truly delightful riverside location with private trout fishing, set in a protected zone for flora and fauna, yet only minutes to medieval Caylus with all services and just 18 minutes drive to celebrated Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val - voted in 2016 one of France's 3 top villages

Protected from the intense of summer heat by a canopy of hazel nut trees, this bespoke mainly timber-built ensemble of around 200 square feet comes with hi-tech insulation, double glazing and 4000 W of reversible cooling power.

The kitchen with induction hob and huge fridge/freezer houses just about every appliance you could wish for.

The master bedroom enjoys a super comfortable 1700 pocketed spring silk padded mattress. There are feather pillows with high quality linen throughout. Beach towels and hair dryers are all in the price.

Thoughtfully designed with a twenty three foot long heated swimming pool, all situated in the sort of private gardens one would associate with a much larger dwelling makes this a distinctive quality combination. For the avoidance of doubt, this property is 100% self-contained with its own separate entrance. There is no sharing of facilities, house or pool.

Steve and Sue were extremely helpful and welcoming. The property is in a beautiful location and we saw more and more wildlife as the week went on.
Sue prepared a superb meal for our first night, but in fact we had sufficient for the next day too.
The Bastide towns are well worth exploring.
We would happily recommend this property. We had a marvellous time!
