Set in a quieter part of town down a little lane on the fringe of town, you have the convenience of all amenities just steps away, combined with a more peaceful location (set away from the main bars, etc). Free, off road Parking is approx. 125m from the house / bars & restaurants only 150m

2 twin beds.

Both bedrooms have again wonderful views across neighbouring gardens to the cliffs of the Aveyron Gorge beyond.

There is also an independent WC & wash hand basin on the ground floor.

Woodburning stove for out of season rentals, along with electric radiators in all rooms.

There are books and dvds available.

Large lounge with Comfortable seating for 4 persons - TV (free to view English channels) & dvd player.

Garden and outside

Double doors lead out from the kitchen to the open, walled courtyard garden - Nicely Shaded in summer.

There is a table and chairs for 6 persons & charcoal BBQ.

Why this location? St Antonin Noble Val attracts so many people with dreams of losing themselves in this beautiful medieval village, surrounded by amazing views and countryside in all directions.
The village has everything : shops, local boutiques in the cobbled streets, supermarkets, garage, PO, banks, a really good choice of bars & restaurants catering for every budget, and sporting activities right on the doorstep.
and of course, the famous Sunday morning market where people come from miles.

Yet we have a location away from any hustle and bustle, with courtyard garden to enjoy the delights of the locally produced French cheeses, wines and fruits.

Bastide towns & villages, ruins etc are all located within easy driving distance.

Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.

Within short driving distances, excursions can also be made to a number of fascinating towns and villages including Cordes sur Ciel, a medieval bastide town whose history includes the Cathars and Huguenots; Albi with its Toulouse Lautrec museum; Najac, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France; Cahors & Gaillac, for their wines; St Antonin Noble Val - Fabulous in its own right and film location for ‘Charlotte Gray’; Montricoux ~ the Château, an old seat of the Templar Knights and Bruniquel, all of which are well worth a visit.

Activities

Sporting activities include Horse riding, canoeing, cycling, fishing, bird watching, rock climbing, tree wire, paragliding, wine tasting, museums, tennis and of course walking. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course).

An afternoon's excursion by kayak through the Aveyron Gorge from the village itself is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.

Also wine growing regions ~ ideal for a half day excursion to sample some of the local wines.

For the children, walk to the public heated swimming pool (3 pools for all ages), under 5 mins walk from the house. (Open June - mid Sept)
