Set in a relatively private part of town down a quiet lane on the fringe of town, you have the convenience of all amenities just STEPS AWAY, combined with a more peaceful location (set away from the main bars, etc).
Free, off road Parking is approx. 125m from the house / great selection of bars & restaurants only 150m, together with local boutiques in the cobbled streets.
Many original features retained within the property, yet combined with modern & comfortable furnishings.
A fabulous location from which to explore the many bastide towns and villages nearby, together with sporting activities including tree wire, paragliding, numerous VTT & walking tracks, and of course kayaking through the Aveyron Gorge from St Antonin - considered by most a 'MUST DO'.

|Why this location?||St Antonin Noble Val attracts so many people with dreams of losing themselves in this beautiful medieval village, surrounded by amazing views and countryside in all directions.
The village has everything : shops, local boutiques in the cobbled streets, supermarkets, garage, PO, banks, a really good choice of bars & restaurants catering for every budget, and sporting activities right on the doorstep.
and of course, the famous Sunday morning market where people come from miles.

Yet we have a location away from any hustle and bustle, with courtyard garden to enjoy the delights of the locally produced French cheeses, wines and fruits.
Bastide towns & villages, ruins etc are all located within easy driving distance.
Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.
Within short driving distances, excursions can also be made to a number of fascinating towns and villages including Cordes sur Ciel, a medieval bastide town whose history includes the Cathars and Huguenots; Albi with its Toulouse Lautrec museum; Najac, voted one of the most beautiful villages in France; Cahors & Gaillac, for their wines; St Antonin Noble Val - Fabulous in its own right and film location for ‘Charlotte Gray’; Montricoux ~ the Château, an old seat of the Templar Knights and Bruniquel, all of which are well worth a visit.
Sporting activities include Horse riding, canoeing, cycling, fishing, bird watching, rock climbing, tree wire, paragliding, wine tasting, museums, tennis and of course walking. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course).
An afternoon's excursion by kayak through the Aveyron Gorge from the village itself is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.
Also wine growing regions ~ ideal for a half day excursion to sample some of the local wines.
For the children, walk to the public heated swimming pool (3 pools for all ages), under 5 mins walk from the house. (Open June - mid Sept)
Weekly local markets offering the very best fruit, vegetables, meats and cheeses and of course locally produced wines.
