Rustic open-plan gîte equipped with gas cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee-machine, toaster, microwave, tv, dvd player and radio. Linen and towels provided except pool towels. Outside terrace and garden furniture. Bbq.
The terraced pool is entered by Roman steps, surrounded by stunning gardens and overlooked by a magnificent pigeonnier.
The gite is located in a rural setting and 6 kms from the village of Caylus with all amenities.
The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher
Dining area had seating for 4.
If there is anything you need in the kitchen please do not hesitate to ask. I am always there to help.
The open plan living area has seating for 4 people. Plenty of books and dvd movies. Flat screen tv and dvd player. IPod dock
French and English tv channels.
The large double room has a extra long king size bed and bedside tables and lamps. 100% cotton sheets and best quality pillows. Chest of drawers and wardrobe for your clothes. Sofa and armchair. Hair dryer.
Beds are made up for your arrival. Change of linen and towels every Saturday if staying for more then a week.
Family size bathroom with a shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. Console table for your toiletries. Toilet rolls.
Wall mounted electric heater in the living area. Mobile electric heater available for the bedroom in cooler months.
Plenty of books and Film DVD’s
The house sits on 2 hectares of beautiful gardens which you are welcome to roam. The surrounding countryside is known for rambling and I can suggest walks to those who wish to explore.
Private garden with rolling countryside views. Terrace and outside dining seating for 4 people.
Parking on the grass area at the end of the property drive.
No large groups accepted. No parties allowed.
No wheel chair access
There is a bbq for the use of my guests.
Please do not use the Gite towels by the pool. Please bring your own.
The pool is available to all paying guests and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Open from 9am - 8pm.
No glassware by the pool, please use plastic tumblers provided in the Gîtes.
We came to France to seek a slower pace of life. I live with my 3 little dogs, 1 cat and some chickens. I grow my own vegetables and love gardening. I enjoy visiting the UK for short periods but love coming back even more. I am a people person so always make my guests feel at home.

|Why this location?||Came on holiday to this property and fell in love with it. We loved the terrain and the temperate climate.
Offered to buy the property in our first week of our holiday and waited 10 years for the owners to sell.

The property consists of two bed & breakfast rooms in the main house and two self catering gîtes. The West gite sleeps 4 adults. The East gite sleeps 2 adults. Together linked by an inter connecting door they make the Grand gite sleeping 6 adults.
Pérard is within easy reach of the picturesque medieval villages of Caylus, Saint Antonin Noble Val and Villefranche-de-Rouergue and close to the wine regions of Cahors and Gaillac. Its location combines the benefits of a local community with a real sense of rural tranquillity.
The region is rich in history and there are many museums, galleries and historical sites to visit. Pérard is within easy reach of the medieval towns of Cordes sur Ciel, St Cirq Lapopie, Bruniquel, Najac, St Antonin Noble Val and Albi to name a few.
Farmer's markets run everyday at various surrounding towns and are a perfect opportunity to soak up the local lifestyle.
The area is not short of outdoor activities, including canoeing, river swimming, picnics, walking, fishing and horse riding.
Pérard is located close to the wine regions of Cahors and Gaillac. Tours can be arranged with the local tourist office.
There are great towns for shopping like Montauban and Cahors. Or if antiques are more your thing there are many brocante's within the local area.
