Markets on Tuesday in the old square so sit relax in the cafe watch the world go by whilst enjoying croissants coffee and a morning read of the paper. Then pop off to Albi via Cordes sur Ciel for a true day of french culture.
There are many restaurants in the area. My favourite is Auberge de la Grange du Cros 15 mins away with chef Rebecca and Thierry who is a fabulous entertainer. But there are at least 20 stunning restaurants including Lou Bourdiè where Jamie Oliver learnt to cook rural French cuisine. In cahors there is the largest Go Kart track for the speed monster in you or how about rock climbing ,abseiling, paragliding for the daring the skies your limit.
