About the Owner/Advertiser, Ms Jayne Millard

We have been followers of France for many years and lucky enough to have moved here over 10 years ago, to enjoy the beautiful climate and way of life. We are keen walkers and spend our time exploring the area and the rest of France, whilst living here full time - excluding the summer period. We also love the garden and spend a great deal of time tending it, and reaping the benefits throughout the year of glorious expanses of colours.

Year property purchased 2007
Why this location? Our love of France bought our search to this wonderful area, where beautiful scenery abounds. The immediate area is known for its production of Gaillac wines, amongst others . The property's close proximity to both the town of Cordes sur Ciel - a major tourist attraction, together with the 'City' of ALBI was also a factor in our decision making.
Unique benefits of property Stunning views for miles and miles across this beautiful countryside from the pool side and house. A property on one floor makes living easy and the gardens are laid to extensive flower beds, which clients can enjoy year round. The grounds - 5 acres in all - offer a good deal of Privacy and tranquillity and are pefect just to relax away from it all.

Huge family room with minstrel gallery & Library. Open countryside setting, on outskirts of wine growing region of Gaillac (& only 10 mins from bastide town of Cordes sur Ciel).

Lovely house, clean and well maintained. Garden and swimming pool are amazing. Great views. Lots of local activities for our children (ages 13, 11 and 8) within 1 hour drive.
We would recommend this property to others.
It would have been perfect if there had been a local boulangerie within walking distance for fresh bread and croissants!
