2 families with grown up kids stayed here. We all enjoyed the a house and its many extra facilities which were as described in the advert. We found it and the grounds in a very clean state.
111 The area was very relaxing and very French. It was great not to be jostling with Hundreds of tourists to get about. The scenery a and sights in the Aveyron can be very dramatic and the area wassteeped in history. We all really enjoyed visiting Conquest and other beautiful villages. Rodez was a surprise with its new gallery of the worlds most famous living painter who is local to the area, it was a nice surprise.
The property is close to Rodez airport. Some of our party flew in there but others drove to the house. We found it an easy drive.
What we all liked about the house was the lovely swimming pool and sun deck, eating outside and BBQ food, comfortable bedrooms with great facilities such as clean bed linen, towels and toiletries, garden games,, library of books and DVD s, lots of seats, cutlery and crockery with a very well stocked kitchen, lots of different spaces to sit and relax indoors.
What we liked about the area: relaxing area, scenic walks, canoeing on the rivers Lot and Aveyron, rock climbing, spa in Cransac, lunch at the Naperon Rouge in Decazeville and a beautiful meal at the Auberge du Fort in the mediaeval quarter of Aubin. and just being in very French France.
Great to have lots of home xomfortsq.
Thank you Jayne, it was nice to read your kind comments and we are glad you enjoyed your stay.
Had a fantastic holiday in a wonderful holiday location. Our party was made up of all ages and everyone had a good time.
The house and facilities are excellent , plenty of room and space and activities for everyone. Wifi was an unexpected bonus. House was well maintained, good communication with the owner. Folder in the house to recommend places to visit.
The pool and terrace were my favorite places. The lads loved playing in the pool.
Belcastel and Conques are two MUST places to visit.
I fully recommend 3George Sands, a great place for a relaxing holiday in the unspoiled part of France!
Thank you for your kind comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in 3George Sands.
I really enjoyed my stay at 3 George Sand, I travelled as part of our extended family. The facilities are great and sitting outside with a BBQ and a fire pit as the sun went down was amazing. It's got a good swimming pool with a nice decking area where it feels nice and isolated. I really caught up on the pile of books I had to read!
Inside the property was modern and well equipped, although I tried to maximise my time outside! There looked like a really nice log burning stove which seems cozy if we had a cold night...
The area as well is really interesting. Barely an English voice anywhere we went, which was nice and refreshing! There's a large town close by with all the amenities we need for shopping, etc, and it's easy to get to (we flew from Stansted to nearby Rodez airport, only 40 minutes away). There's so much history nearby, and we even headed down to one of the gorges for a kayaking trip which was fun :)
Loved the house, love the area. I'm thinking about heading back with just a group of friends, rather than a family trip!
Thank you for your kind comments, glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you again soon!
