Superb location within easy reach of restaurants and beach. Good view from balcony and the bustle of the port. Not too touristy here unlike other local towns.
Top floor means lots of lift activity. We found the double bed very soft. The kitchen is narrow galley type, the cooker is very basic.
This is a very comfortable apartment with everything you could ask for, very clean and extremely well maintained. It is exactly as described and the interior is better than the photographs show. Having purchased croissants and baguettes from the Boulangerie just across the marina it was a joy each morning to stand outside on the balcony and drink that first cup of freshly brewed coffee whilst the local fishermen started to open their stalls. There are many excellent restuarants within a five minute walk and one superb restaurant within 50 metres - Le Petit Mousse. Their lunchtime "Formule" menu consists of 3 wonderful courses that change each day - the cost being 9.90 Euros per head ! Beaches galore, many museums (the cinema at Arromanches has regular showings of a 16 minute film about D-day which will leave you with many sobering thoughts) The Tapestry at Bayeux does not sound exciting but if you visit you will see just how worth your while it was! The film there and the ehibition only add to what is a magnificient experience. I would recommend this property to anyone and the owner was only too pleased to communicate and help if needed.
