About this property

Stunning 2 bedroom 18th Century Farmhouse and Barn. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

La Cote is an 18th century traditional Normandy house and Barn in an idyllic rural location near St. Pierre-sur-Dives, south of Caen. The house sits on a south facing hillside with fields below and woods above. Purchased in 2001 the house has been refurbished to our own specification.

La Cote is situated in the heart of the Calvados region, made famous for its ciders and cheeses. The town of St. Pierre-sur-Dives is 5 minutes away and has a wonderful market every Monday and the town caters for all our needs. Further north, some 40 minutes drive, is the coast with Honfleur, Deauville and Trouville. To the west, are the Normandy beaches and the Memorial de Caen and Bayeux famous for its tapestry.

Our charge, which includes all utility costs, bed linen, but not towels is £490.00 per 7 nights stay during the months of May through to September. The property is not available for letting outside of these months. Should you wish to book there is a £100.00 deposit which is returned to you after your stay providing the property is left as you found it.

St Pierre-sur-Dives

Our Local Town St. Pierre-sur-Dives has a Monday market which must be visited and there are several good restaurants, boulangeries and supermarkets.
