You know you’re going to get a good night’s sleep the moment you walk through the door of this enormous bedroom and see the stunningly ornate super king size bed with its crisp white bedding and generous pillows. This room certainly has the wow factor! We've been told by one guest that sleeping in this bed was “like sleeping on a fluffy cloud”.

There is a comfy chair and also a chaise longue for you to stretch out and relax on if you want to sit and read a good book, and for you gadget lovers there is a 50 inch plasma screen with dvd player and an iPod/iPhone dock.

Take in a show or have a flutter at the beautiful casino and on some Fridays in the summer you can dine in style as you watch the Night Trotting at Cabourg, a very special evening indeed. You’ll be spoilt for choice of things to do in Normandy. The most famous “must see” things are the many poignant WWII landing beaches and the world famous Bayeux Tapestry that tells the story of William the Conqueror and the Battle of Hastings. The landing beaches stretch from the British beaches and Mulberry Harbour at Arromanches to our nearest beach, Omaha beach and on towards Cherbourg. Omaha beach is a 5 minute drive from Le Pressoir and on the hill behind the beach is the very impressive American Cemetery, museum, the gardens there are a tranquil place to remember those that lost their lives on the beaches below.
We loved staying in Gite Moliere at Le Pressoir. Shu and Rob were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them to ensure we had a great holiday. The gite was light and spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely welcome pack to greet us on our arrival. The weather was hot, so the pool and hot tub were perfect after a day out in the beautiful Calvados countryside. Le Pressoir is a great base for visiting the many attractions that Normandy has to offer. We visited Etretat, Honflleur, Deauville and all the Normandy landing beaches, as well as the beautiful town of Bayeux, which is just 10 minutes away. We will certainly return!
Thank you so much Pat and Trevor for your glowing review, we are over the moon that you loved your stay at Le Pressoir.
We're also thrilled that you were able to make such good use of the pool and hot tub after your days out exploring.
There's nothing like enjoying a glass of chilled bubbles while relaxing in warm bubbles is there! ;-)
And after seeing your beautiful photos of Etretat we will be visiting it ourselves as soon as we can.
We're really looking forward to seeing you again when you return

A fabulous gite. Probably the best we've ever stayed in. Shu and Rob are excellent hosts who go to great lengths to ensure your stay is wonderful. We especially enjoyed the hot tub.
Perfect location for D Day landing beaches and very close to Bayeux
Wow, thank you so much Julie and Chris
It doesn't get any better than a 10 out of 10 does it so we're over the moon with that.
We're also delighted that you had such a good time and to hear you say the gite was probably the best you've ever stayed in is a huge compliment.
It is easy to be good hosts when we have guests as lovely as you and Chris and I loved that you were able to sit and relax in the Hot Tub with a glass of wine on several evenings.
We also loved your comments in our guestbook and we look forward to seeing you next time too.
