Small Rural Cottage With View Over Lake. This cottage/gite is in a rural setting.

The Boulangerie is a 2-bedroomed gite in a quiet country setting.  It has a twin room and a double.  There is a shower-room upstairs with wc, hand basin and hairdryer. 
This gite also boasts a downstairs cloakroom, a lovely kitchen/dining room and comfortable lounge with satellite tv and a log-burner.

Country cottage style 3 piece suite in lounge with a log burner.


Bedroom 1 has a double bed.& looks out over gate
Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds.& looks out toward's lake


There is a shower room on 1st floor with wc & basin.
On ground floor is an additional wc with vanity basin.
Both have shaver point & hairdryers.


Main source of heating is a log burner in lounge with additional electric heaters in kitchen & bedrooms.


Satellite tv in lounge with free to air British channels + dvd/video.
French tv free to air
Wi-fi is available in cottage & on decking area outside.

There is a large decking area with table & chairs.
A separate stoned bbq area & a grassed area.
There is a plunge pool near main house which is shared.

Why this location? This is a tranquil peaceful area but not too far from all the amenities that you might require to make your stay pleasurable.
We are less than an hour from the nearest ferry, a very central location to head to any of the Normandie beaches or Mont St Michel, Bayeux for the tapestry.
On the south side of Vire there is a golf course, whilst in Vire you have a swimming pool & bowling, so if the weather is not perfect their is still plenty to do.
For the more adventurous there is bungy jumping or a luge ride.
There is also a lovely zoo near us also.
There is an abundance of restaurants in the Vire area to suit all your needs & price range.
Equally there are plenty of shops to buy all you need to eat in or out side on the BBQ.
Unique benefits of property From our property you can enjoy country walks or cycle rides, whilst being not too far from the main shopping area's of Vire or Flers.
There is a main line railway station in Vire from where you can access Paris.
We are within an hours drive of the ferry port or the airport at Caen.
close by there are small villages to meander around or more busy tourist area's such as Villedieu Les Poeles, Granville, St Malo & many more.
There is a lovely market in Vire on a Friday morning or St lo on Saturday.

From our properties It is about 5 minutes drive to Vire town centre, where there is a market every Friday morning. There are also plenty of shops in the town and a useful Tourist Information Centre. Vire also boasts a Museum of old crafts and a horse Trotting Circuit, bowling and all the services and amenities you would expect from a flourishing small town. Around the local area there are opportunities for walking, hiking, cycling, riding and fishing or golf, and for the more adventurous amongst you there is the A J Hackett extreme activities centre. Here you can take a jump with a 61 metre bungy, travel on a 1km luge run or a zip wire run where you can reach speeds of 120km/ hour!
