Couldnt of wanted for a better place to stay. Very friendly owners who couldnt do enough for you and perfectly located in Normandy. Plenty to do at the house on rainy days, as well as ability to eat in or outside.

Best rental cottage we have been to in many many years.

Beautiful, rural location with much to visit in the vicinity, including the D-Day beaches.
The property is a real home from home with everything you could want provided.
On a clear night the night sky is breathtaking.
What more could you want!

We have stayed at Les Moulins several times and always find it very comfortable and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing suroundings.
The house is well equipped and always clean and well maintained.
We would definitely recommend a stay.

This property appealed to us because of its rural location and thus the price when compared with properties closer to amenities and tourist attractions. It did not disappoint. Everything was as described on the web page and the English owners had provided us with all necessary information and even a set of keys in advance. Our questions to them by both email phone we answered in great detail and nothing was too much trouble.

After a long, hot journey on Bastille Day weekend, we arrived in this idyllic rural location using the owners detailed local instructions.(Our satnav didn'nt recognise the exact address, so we recommend a good map or some research on Google Maps before you leave home.). The house was beautifully prepared for us, including all beds made up and a welcome pack of essential supplies.

The house is homely and comfortable, with a huge garden, ideal for outdoor living. We had superb July weather, which enabled us to eat most meals outside, sometimes using the thatched summerhouse. We also used some of the bikes for a very hot bike ride.

Vire, a small but busy market town, is 15 minutes by car and has 3 large supermarkets and a wonderful market on Fridays. We didn't eat out much so can't comment on restaurants, but the owners have left some recommendations and previous visitors have left helpful comments.

Le Mont Saint-Michel and the D-Day beaches were highlights of our week and each makes a good day out.

A rural paradise, beautifully presented!
