We have been renting in France for many years and have stayed in over 80 gites and cottages this one we rate in our top 10. The only reason we did not rate the setting or local amenities as a 10 is you need drive to Falaise (10 mins approx)for the shops/supermarkets. Within 1 hours drive you get to the D-Day beaches and lots of other places of interest, do not miss out on a visit to the Castle and museum in Falaise. The owner is very helpful and we kept in touch during our stay via the internet (wifi in the house) we would stay in the house again should we return to this part of France. The house is as discribed their is not much more that I can say other than hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Sorry forgot nearly to say great place for the dog as completly enclosed garden with remote control gates and garage door.
