Le Guillaume is a beautifully refurbished apartment on the second floor of a very old building, once part of William the Conqueror's Cathedral, and right opposite the old salt store.
It is amazingly well equipped with everything the traveller could possibly require.
We purchased it in 2002 and had the entire apartment internally demolished and re-designed to make the most of its limited space.
The main living area has two windows overlooking the new museum, with a breakfast bar seperating the kitchen area.
The bedroom is decorated in pinks and white, and is very pretty.
The shower room links the living area and the bedroom with two doors.
The small kitchen is modern and well equipped. It has a full sized electric oven, two electric hobs, a dish washer and sink. The cupboards are equipped with matching chins for four visitors. It is presented in attractive blues and white, with ceramic floor. Window overlooking Cathedral square.
Wooden floor. Two large windows offering lightness and warmth. Sofa, television with CD player, music centre, desk, comfortable chair, folding dining table and two dining chairs. Victorian cast iron fire surround with electric coal effect fire.
There is a double bedroom with wooden flooring. The bed is standard English size double - 4'6". Corona over the bed. Window overlooking Cathedral square. Bedside cupboards and bedside lights. Sliding door fitted wardrobe. Small dressing table and mirror. Two chairs.
Large walk in shower with curved glass screen. Basin and electric toilet. Blue and white tiled floor. Extractor fan. Heated towel rail.
