The Owner Recommends

The property is ideally located to explore the Suisse Normande and all it has to offer.
The areas of Suisse Normande and the Pays de Falaise offer a quality natural environment. The spectacular landscapes shaped by the River Orne are the ideal site for outdoor sports.
The brèche au diable (devil's breach), the pain de sucre (sugar block), the rochers des parcs (park rocks)... so many evocative and poetic names describe the tumultuous landscapes of the Pays de Falaise and Suisse Normande. Suisse Normande even boasts its own Crest Route. The pain de sucre in Saint Omer is its highest peak: 214m (700ft). The perfect site for paragliding!

The River Orne meanders its way through the rocks, offering a genuine playground for kayakers. And on the ridges and the faces of these Norman "mountains", you can also try your hand at climbing, hang-gliding, hiking... The Clécy dells also offer the ideal setting for a round of golf.

The perfect destination for a breath of 100% fresh country air.

Take a stroll through Clécy; enjoy lunch on the waterfront before heading down the Orne aboard a canoe. And if you fancy a family pedal boat tour, then simply head for Pont d Ouilly or La Vey in Clecy.
In the summer months, have fun at the open air balls on the waterfront in Pont d'Ouilly, where locals and tourists intermingle in a natural and friendly atmosphere.
The Pays de Falaise is home to many tourist attractions and historic sites, the flagship of which is undoubtedly William the Conqueror's castle.
The child in every one of you is sure to revel in the miniature railway at Clécy and the automaton museum in Falaise.

For your next family holiday in the country, take to Suisse Normande and the Pays de Falaise: a genuine breath of fresh air amidst nature's best!
Roche d’Oëtre is a natural site in Swiss Normandy and is one of the most prestigious panoramic viewpoints in western France. It is a protected site located in the oldest mountains in Europe : the Armorican Massif.

A lovely family holiday with 4 kids aged 9, 7, 6 and 3 plus my husband and I. 2 weeks of fun and play in a lovely little gite with a hot tub, pool, badminton net, boules, swing set.

We had a nice 2 week stay in this gite with lots to do for the kids on site. The garden is mainly shared with the owners who are very nice and helpful.

The advert accurately describes the property, it's clean and well maintained. It's worth noting that there's no dishwasher, so if you have a large family you'll be washing up after every meal.

The bunk beds were very comfortable for the children.

The nearest little village is Pont D'Ouilly which has 2 boulangeries and a little tabac/bar. There is a lovely play park for the kids in Pont D'Ouilly also and it's right by the river with kayaking/fishing and so forth.

It was a great value for money holiday
