A lovely comfortable typical French gite. The owner was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed the week and would definitely return. It was the perfect location for visiting both coasts. Great daily fish market and local shops. Obama beach was lovely and unspoilt as was Barneville cartenet. Also easy to visit Caen which had good shops and Bayeux for the tapestry. Good value local restaurants in Grandcamp Maisy.

mirabelle was a really good find for our family.
Very comfortable cottage with space for 5 of us and really good value for money.
With older teenage children there was lots to do in the area and plenty of places to visit. A pleasant walk to Grandcamp Maisie with its beaches and shops including supermarket. It also has a good centre for sailing and other water sports.
A great little bar just round the corner from Mirabelle.
Louise was an excellent host. She was so friendly and helpful and genuinely wanted us to have a great holiday - which we did!
We would happily recommend Mirabelle and Grandcamp Maisie.

Mirabelle was a very comfortable base from which to tour, we had a fantastic holiday. The owner, is very helpful and welcoming: she lives next door, should you need to ask about anything.

Grandcamp- Maisy is a lovely town- everything was within easy walking distance, also the daily fish markets are excellent. There are so many fascinating places to visit within easy driving distance, that one week wasn't really long enough!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mirabelle. It is in an ideal location - a short trip from the ferry port (Cherbourg), supermarket a few minutes walk away and the fishing town of Grandcamp Maisy just a little farther.
Beaches are great for family activities and obviously the D-Day sites, museums are all easily accessible. If you're looking for D-Day sites, don't miss Maisy Battery just up the road - well worth a trip.
Louise made us feel welcome from start to finish and was always available to help. The property was clean, tidy and well equipped.
Highly recommended.
